For those with a hunger for haute couture, next year’s Sex and the City 2 promises to be a feast of fashion. Of course, we wouldn’t expect any less from Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker) and her elegant allies, Samantha (Kim Cattrall), Charlotte (Kristin Davis) and Miranda (Cynthia Nixon) and snaps from the movie’s New York set (production has now moved to Morocco) have delivered many of the usual labels – Christian Louboutin (bag and shoes, pictured), Yves St Laurent and Christian Dior to name but three. But one designer scoring some screen time in the hugely anticipated sequel is less familiar. Writer-director Derick Martini has set up his second film at Paramount.According to Variety, the studio has acquired Martini's original comedic screenplay "I Am My Family's Secret" and has attached him to direct as well. The film will be produced by Ivan Reitman and Tom Pollock's Montecito Picture Co. and distributed by Paramount.Story revolves around two very different brothers who discover their parents have been covering up a life-changing secret for over 20 years."Lymelife," Martini's directorial debut, was executive produced by Martin Scorsese and starred Alec Baldwin, Emma Roberts, Rory Culkin, Kieran Culkin and Cynthia Nixon. The production of "Sex and the City 2" has indeed left New York for Morocco, and photos from the North African set have made their way out as proofs. Spotted filming scenes at Marrakech, one of the country's biggest cities, were two of the "Sex and the City" stars, Sarah Jessica Parker and Cynthia Nixon.
Sjp was captured wearing a J'adore Dior t-shirt with ball gown-like lavender and gray skirt. On her feet, she slipped on baby-pink snakeskin heels. Meanwhile, Nixon was seen in an all-white outfit consisting of a blazer and floor-length skirt. Two of the set photos can be seen at New York Post, while two others are posted by In Style.

Paramount has picked up Lymelife writer-director Derick Martini's original screenplay I Am My Family's Secret and has set Martini to direct.
According to Variety, the comedy revolves around two very different brothers who discover their parents have been hiding a life-changing secret for more than two decades.
Lymelife, Martini's directorial debut, was exec produced by Martin Scorsese and starred Alec Baldwin, Emma Roberts, Rory Culkin, Kieran Culkin and Cynthia Nixon. It won the Fipresci prize at the 2008 Toronto Film Festival.
No production date has been set.

The actress, who plays Charlotte in the franchise, told The Mirror that she keeps in touch with the other stars. Miley Cyrus has shot her cameo part for "Sex and the City 2" in mid-November, and she has taken it to Kiis-fm morning radio show to share her shooting experience. On Friday, October 30, the star of "Hannah Montana" told Ryan Seacrest, "It was like the best job I'd ever been on. It was a total dream come true."
The daughter of country crooner Billy Ray Cyrus continued on praising some of the stars of the romantic comedy. "It was so cool. Working with Kim [Cattrall] was a really cool," the 16-year-old actress/singer shared. "And Sarah Jessica Parker was like the nicest person in the world."

Kristin Davis thinks 'Sex and the City 2' is like "condensed soup".
The 44-year-old actress - who plays lovable art dealer Charlotte York Goldenblatt in the Us TV series and movies - says bosses have crammed so many dramatic plotlines into the upcoming sequel it is much more intense than the 2008 first big-screen outing.
She told MTV: "This one is not going to be that long. It's like condensed soup. It's different, and adventurous and rich, and there's music involved."
Kristin - who stars in the films with Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall and Cynthia Nixon - also revealed the cast are currently working long hours to complete the film.
She explained: "We were shooting nights last week, and pretty much for the two weeks before that. All night. We were not doing a night exterior, but that's how many hours we needed to get certain things done. »

While the 2008's "Sex and the City" took about 145 minutes to watch, it has been revealed that its sequel won't be that long. In a recent interview with MTV, one of the romantic comedy stars, Kristin Davis, gave clues on the runtime of "Sex and the City 2" in addition to some other details.
Asked whether the second movie adaptation of the popular HBO series will be as "big" as the first movie in term of length, the Charlotte York depicter said, "Oh no. This one is not going to be that long. It's like condensed soup." When MTV reporter Josh Horowitz questioned if "every minute will be meaty", she responded, "Yes! The iconic singer - who has a cameo appearance as herself in the upcoming film - played a song for the cast when shooting wrapped on her scene, before making an emotional speech.

Miley Cyrus has long been reported to be making a cameo in "Sex and the City 2", and a number of newly-found pictures from the set have served as proofs to the circulating story. The set photos coming from Splash News present the "Hannah Montana" leading actress together with one of the movie's stars, Kim Cattrall.
On Friday, October 16, the 16-year-old actress/singer filmed her cameo part at the Ziegfeld Theatre in New York City. She was seen in a red carpet scene with the older actress, wearing matching metallic dresses and knee-length boots. The only difference spotted from the two's outfits is the neck accessory they were donning.

On Friday night, October 16, she was pictured filming her cameo appearance alongside one of the cast members, Kim Cattrall, in front of the Ziegfeld Theatre.

In 1968, at the age of 60, a British writer named Quentin Crisp published a memoir, The Naked Civil Servant, about his life as a defiantly openly gay man at a time when homosexuality was illegal. He chose to dye his hair fuchsia, and sometimes wore make-up and women’s clothes — and as a result found himself scorned and beat up for much of his life.

Rumor has it, Sarah Jessica Parker and her co-stars in "Sex and the City 2" will fly to another continent to film the movie. Radar Online claimed a source from the production has informed that some of the film's scenes will be shot in Morocco, North Africa. "Production hasn't started yet but they will shoot in Morocco," the source stated.
The site, moreover, obtained information from another source who saw Penelope Cruz filming her cameo appearance in the flick. She was reportedly wearing a long, black dress while the crew blocked off the entire lobby of The Empire Hotel in New York. "She looked beautiful," the source said.
