The family of late actor Kirby Morrow, known for his voice roles on “Dragon Ball Z,” Lego’s “Ninjago” and many more series, is raising money to start a scholarship in his honor.
Morrow died in late November at 47 years old, and his brother Casey Morrow and the Calgary Foundation in Alberta, Canada, started a GoFundMe to help launch the Kirby Morrow Memorial Scholarship Fund.
“Kirby loved helping people, especially new performers learn and get started in the industry, so our family decided to create a memorial scholarship in his name,” Casey told Variety.
Created on Friday, the fundraiser has a goal of $50,000 to help people pursuing an education in the performing arts.
“Our goal is to create a lasting legacy in his name, and maybe some day it will help another Kirby from some small town realize their dreams,” the GoFundMe post reads.

Hulu’s Animaniacs revival landed on November 20th, and it couldn’t have gone down better online, with fans praising the reboot of the classic 90s animated show for its spot on mix of kid-friendly slapstick and witty pop culture and political jokes for the older viewers. Unfortunately, however, as folks have made their way through the 13 episodes that debuted last Friday, the show has generated controversy due to one particular visual gag.
At one point, a poster for a fake movie starring Johnny Depp called Johnny II: Telling Lies is shown. It’s hard not to see this as a reference to Depp’s ongoing legal feud with ex-wife Amber Heard, in which he’s repeatedly hit back at her claims that he domestically abused her, with the Pirates of the Caribbean actor providing his own evidence suggesting that she actually abused him. Of course, the former A-lister has...

The saga of Johnny Depp and Amber Heard has taken many twists and turns over the last couple of years, but only in 2020 could a throwaway joke featuring an animated likeness of the former Pirates of the Caribbean star in an episode of the Animaniacs revival on Hulu cause an online firestorm that’s both completely unexpected and yet totally unsurprising at the same time.
Since being dropped from Fantastic Beasts 3 after coming out on the losing end of his libel trial against a British tabloid that ran a headline calling him a wife beater, fans have rallied behind Depp. They’ve launched petitions in an attempt to have him reinstated as Jack Sparrow and Grindelwald despite both franchises moving forward on new installments without him, while the campaign to have Heard fired from Aquaman 2 sailed past a million signatures as supporters also plan to boycott the Dceu’s superhero sequel.

"Should I tell your wife and your son who you really are?" Screen Media Films has launched a trailer for Drone, yet another movie about drone pilots, this one featuring Sean Bean. Yes, that Sean Bean, the one from Lord of the Rings and "Game of Thrones". Drone is about a father who is secretly a drone pilot who spends his workdays flying covert missions then returns to family life. Everything changes when a Pakistani businessman, who feels he is responsible for the deaths of his wife and child, tracks him down leading to a harrowing confrontation. Starring Patrick Sabongui, Mary McCormack, Joel David Moore, Sharon Taylor, and Kirby Morrow. This looks intriguing, but pretty much the same as all the other drone films. Here's the first official trailer for Jason Bourque's Drone, originally embedded from Yahoo: Neil (Sean Bean) is a private drone contractor who spends his workdays...

12 Rounds 3: Lockdown continues the long-running franchise with yet another WWE superstar given the chance to headline. This time round we have Dean Ambrose, a wrestler known for his anarchic, unstable nature who doesn’t play by the rules. And that’s essentially the same character he plays here – only this time his character, Shaw, also happens to be a cop. The only good cop in his precinct it would seem, given just how many men Shaw’s former partner turned nemesis, Burke, brings with him to take on Shaw!
Essentially another Die Hard clone (as were the first two movies), 12 Rounds 3 sees Shaw, following the death of his partner, finally return to active duty.

Ron doesn't see why Syfy's fun, good-looking sci-fi pilot, High Moon, didn't make it to series. There's plenty here to enjoy...
Once upon a time, you couldn't sneeze in the summer without hitting some sort of made-for-tv movie. Sometimes, they'd be specially made for the purpose of airing. Sometimes, they'd just be unused pilots that happened to be edited into a two-hour block to fill a little airtime. For every The Night Stalker, there was a Steel Magnolias, K-9 And Company, or a Riding With Death (which went on to fame via Mystery Science Theater 3000). In other words, the TV movie pilot doesn't always work out all that well. However, you have to give SyFy credit for trying to make something out of nothing with High Moon, the television pilot version of John Christopher's novel The Lotus Caves.

Conceived as a tie-in to the re-branded Lego range of Star Wars playsets, Lego Star Wars: The Yoda Chronicles features two more totally brand-new and 100% original 22 minute specials – this time based on George Lucas’ god-awful prequels, namely episodes one and two, and the adventures of Anakin, Obi-Wan Yoda and Mace Windu as they take on the evil Darth Sidious, Count Dooku and General Grevious.
In Episode I: The Phantom Clone, the action-packed adventure begins when Darth Sidious unveils his plan to create a new super-weapon — an enhanced Sith clone named Jek-14 — to help him defeat the Republic once and for all. It’s up to Jedi Master Yoda and his young Padawan students to work together and save the galaxy.

Finally we get to see some action on the other side, something that’s been a little lacking this season. ‘Our’ Lincoln (Seth Gabel) goes to the other side to help Fauxlivia (Anna Torv) and Alt Lincoln track down a vigilante killer. As we whittle our way down to the last episodes of the season (and maybe the series), there’s going to be plenty of spoiler material. There’s a major development this week and I’m not going to write around it, so only read on if you’ve seen the episode.
Unlike the titular Radiohead song suggests, we begin with everything very much in its wrong place. Lincoln, who began the season as a new recruit to Fringe Division, developed an unspoken attraction for Olivia. Whether she felt the same way we will never know for sure, although the signs were certainly suggestive.

Fourth episode in Kevin Tancharoen’s “Mortal Kombat: Legacy” web series features a history/background of wardrobe-challenged Kitana and Mileena. Half of the episode is in animated form, which, I dunno, isn’t that kind of a gyp? Isn’t the whole point of this doing everything in live-action? Anyways.
