- Robert Modica taught theater at Grover Cleveland High School on the Brooklyn-Queens border in New York City in the late 1950s and early 1960s before he left for LA and appeared in Love Story. His productions were often over the top - somehow there was always money from the PTA to finance a trip to Century Lighting Supply in Mahanttan to rent a truckload of equipment to supplement the stage lighting.
