Twenty Minutes of 'Legion' Unveiled

Shock Till You Drop has just watched 20 minutes of thriller movie "Legion" when visiting the film's set. The site then shared what they have seen from the selected clips, which are believed to highlight some of the main themes of the film as well as to introduce the cast ensemble.

[Spoiler Alert!] The first clip highlights acrhangel Michael, played by Paul Bettany, who smashes onto the Earth's surface, breaks the metal halo around his neck and slices the wings from his back. He loads up on guns and ammo from a nearby shop and takes on two cops who respond to a break-in. The footage is said offering a glimpse of "angelic possession" when one of the officers is shaking until his teeth become pointy and his eyeballs turn black.

Legion Writer Reveals the Demonic Roots of His Angelic Apocalypse

The script for the angels-versus-humans action flick Legion has gone through a lot of incarnations. Scriptwriter Peter Schink laid out the whole twisted evolution in a interview with Shock Till You Drop. It all started, he explains, back in the '90s when he got stuck with a madwoman at a Carl's Jr. in the desert:

I was out in the town of Mojave and in an unlikely event I got snowed in during a freak snow storm there. Mojave being a small town, all of the motels immediately got sold out. I was stuck spending the entire night in a Carl's Jr. restaurant. I was locked in with a lot of strange people and there was this old woman in there who was off her rocker. She was babbling through the whole night and when the sun came up and the snow cleared, I was happy to get out of there. »
