Jackass star Steve-o continues to outdo himself and this time he was in London performing a stunt that ended up getting him detained by local authorities. The television personality jumped off the Tower Bridge promoting a comedy special and detailed what happened.
“I was detained by police after doing this jump off the Tower Of London Bridge yesterday, but they were totally cool, and understood that I’m just super excited to be taping my Third (and craziest by far) comedy special on Friday, July 14 in London (where I was born!),” Steve-o shared on Instagram.
Steve-o called the day “epic” that allegedly saw him getting interrogated by police.

The Jackass series debuted on MTV in 2000, quickly becoming one of the most popular television shows. It followed the antics of a group of friends as they engaged in outrageous stunts, pranks, and dangerous physical challenges. The show cast included Johnny Knoxville, Bam Margera, Steve-o, Chris Pontius, Wee Man, Dave England, Preston Lacy, and Ryan Dunn.
Despite parental and political worries about the show’s potential impact on younger viewers, it quickly skyrocketed in popularity. After three seasons of wading through constant censorship notes from MTV, Knoxville and his pals decided to end their run; thus began, Jackass’ successful transition to the silver screen era.
The Jackass franchise spawned several movies that were released between 2002 and 2022, in the following order:
All the Jackass Movies in Order of Release Date Jackass The Movie (2002) Jackass Number Two (2006) Jackass 2.5 (2007) Jackass Presents Mat Hoffman’s Tribute to Evel Knievel (2008) Jackass 3D (2010) Jackass 3.5 (2011) Jackass Presents...

Don't break out your Party Boy panties and your camcorders just yet, "Jackass" fans — the beloved series is not getting a revival as previously reported. There is still some great new content headed our way from the crew behind the franchise, but it's not going to be more "Jackass." In a soon-to-be published interview with /Film's Ethan Anderton to promote his upcoming Hulu series, "Reboot," "Jackass" star Johnny Knoxville explained that there have been some misunderstandings with regards to the future of all things "Jackass." Indeed, "Jackass Forever" was likely the nail in the coffin for that particular brand of humorous hijinks.
With the guys getting older and recovery from injuries taking longer (and far more dangerous), it's really not a huge shock that "Jackass" isn't coming back. For those of us who love the guys and don't want to see them disappear completely, however, the good news is that...

Earlier this year we saw Johnny Knoxville, Steve-o, Jason “Wee Man” Acuña, Preston Lacy, Chris Pontius, Dave England, Ehren McGhehey, and other new “Jackass” members return for the fourth installment, “Jackass Forever.” With every film installment, there is plenty of extra footage or various comedic bits that don’t make the theatrical cut, and there is normally a lot of good stuff left on the cutting room floor that ends up being put into a follow-up feature-length project.

Paramount’s new Jackass Forever film has drawn condemnation from People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, which called for a criminal investigation into the production.
The film was released this week and so far has grossed an estimated $20 million. The sequel to 2010’s Jackass 3D, it is the fourth main installment and the fifth overall installment in the Jackass film series.
PETA claimed a stunt in which Johnny Knoxville and Steve-o provoke honeybees into stinging Steve-o’s penis (killing many of them), and another in which a scorpion is put in someone’s mouth and hit repeatedly until the animal stings are particularly worrisome.
The organization has sent letters to Los Angeles city and San Luis Obispo County prosecutors about the matter. PETA points out that the Paramount Pictures movie—which appears to have been filmed at least partially in Los Angeles and San Luis Obispo County—likely broke state animal protection laws.

Paramedics at the ready! Ten years after their last bone-crunching outing, the juvenile daredevils are at it again
The first episode of Jackass is a seminal work of the 21st century. It is titled Poo Cocktail, and features in quick succession the early stunts, pranks and goofs that make up Jackass’s enduring DNA: the show’s breakout star Johnny Knoxville flies out of a cannon into a net; another of its regulars, Bam Margera, roly-polys down a hill through a group of nonplussed golfers while a cameraman giggles from inside a nearby bush; Ehren McGhehey, the most viscerally headlockable man ever committed to film, intercepts someone’s drive-thru order and throws it for a touchdown. Jason “Wee Man” Acuña, painted orange and dressed as an Oompa Loompa, skates down Venice Beach in a way that astonishes a bystander in wraparound shades.

As the star of “Jackass,” the MTV series born in 2000 that turned into a blockbuster movie franchise, Johnny Knoxville has badly injured every part of his body, from his head to his limbs to his — uh, groin area. But while making “Jackass Forever,” the fourth Paramount film that follows a beloved ensemble of dudes (and one woman) who attempt painful stunts involving blunt objects and dangerous animals, Knoxville finally hit a wall. Or rather, a bull — it ran him over.
Knoxville had been building toward the no-holds-barred stunt for weeks while shooting the movie, which opens in theaters on Feb. 4. “I was trying to do a magic trick in a bull ring,” Knoxville explains over a breakfast in West Hollywood in December, days before omicron made people go into hiding again. “I wanted to prank an animal, and that’s what we came up with.” But the bull didn’t find the joke funny,...

Ahead of the Paramount Pictures release of “Jackass Forever” on February 4 next year, the slapstick reality film directed by Jeff Tremaine is already in hot water. Following the release of the movie’s trailer — featuring Johnny Knoxville, Steve-o, Wee Man, and the gang — PETA has reached out to Los Angeles prosecutors demanding a criminal probe into the filmmakers regarding an alleged incident of animal cruelty. (Via Joblo.)
Here’s an excerpt from PETA’s press release:
PETA’s attention has been drawn to the production of the upcoming Paramount Pictures movie, filmed in Los Angeles County, the trailer for which shows Johnny Knoxville being charged by a bull, Sean McInerney being bitten on the nose by a snake, and a tarantula trapped in a plastic tube between Ehren McGhehey and Compston Wilson’s heads. PETA notes that these activities appear to violate California’s prohibitions on bullfighting and similar exhibitions,...

People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals upped its campaign this week against Paramount’s forthcoming Jackass Forever. In a letter to Los Angeles Deputy District Attorney Kimberly Abourezk and L.A. City Attorney Mike Feuer, PETA Cousel Caitlin Zittkowski wrote that the film’s trailer contains “scenes apparently involving cruelty to animals.”
She specifically calls out moments that include “Johnny Knoxville being charged by an agitated bull, a person being bitten on the nose by a captive snake, and a tarantula trapped in a plastic tube between two people’s heads.” She notes that, since the film appears to have been shot in L.A., any violations would lie within the purview of their offices. According to IMDb, production did in fact take place in L.A.
The bullfighting scene, for instance, may violate California Penal Code section 597(b), according to Zittkowski. She says that section applies to any...

Paramount Pictures has released the first official trailer for “Jackass Forever,” the fourth film installment of the bone-smacking prankster comedy franchise pioneered by Johnny Knoxville. Though filming had to shut down for a week due to concerns about Covid-19, “Jackass Forever” is probably the only recent movie to incur more delays from hospitalizations for broken bones than a deadly virus. Just two days into filming, both Knoxville and Steve-o were hospitalized due to on-set injuries. Two days into test filming, and professional skateboarder Aaron “Jaws” Homoki had broken his wrist.
While there likely isn’t much plot to speak of, the official logline for the movie reads: “Forever young and still funny in the head. Johnny Knoxville and the “Jackass” guys had their prime moment of cultural relevancy about twenty years ago after the TV show first premiered on MTV. Since then, there have been three feature films, each one more commercially successful than the last. Now, for the first time since 2010’s “Jackass 3D,” the boys (now middle-aged men) are back again with “Jackass Forever.”

Paramount Pictures has released the trailer for “Jackass Presents: Bad Grandpa” starring Johnny Knoxville, Steve-o, Bam Margera, Wee-Man, Chris Pontius, Preston Lacy, Dave England, Ehren McGhehey, and Ryan Dunn.
86 year-old Irving Zisman is on a journey across America with the most unlikely companions, his 8 year-old Grandson Billy in “Jackass Presents: Bad Grandpa.” This October, the signature Jackass character Irving Zisman (Johnny Knoxville) and Billy (Jackson Nicoll) will take movie audiences along for the most insane hidden camera road trip ever captured on camera.
Along the way Irving will introduce the young and impressionable Billy to people, places and situations that give new meaning to the term childrearing. The duo will encounter male strippers, disgruntled child beauty pageant contestants (and their equally disgruntled mothers), funeral home mourners, biker bar patrons and a whole lot of unsuspecting citizens.
Real people in unreal situations, making for one really messed up comedy.
Have a look at the trailer below.

Chicago – “Jackass 3” features more male genitalia and bodily fluids than most pornos. The boys have become bizarrely obsessed with their penises and, well, crap. And while the movie features some definite laughs, there are a surprising number of bits that either fall flat as comedy or seem designed to shock more than entertain. This big fan of Johnny Knoxville and the gang (I’ve seen every episode and the first two movies) just didn’t find the third installment as funny as I had hoped it would be — even in nauseating 3D.
Blu-Ray Rating: 3.0/5.0
I’ve always had a bit of difficulty reviewing the “Jackass” movies. They’re almost critic-proof. We can’t really discuss the deep character development, plot, direction, or other elements that make up a movie review. All that really matters is if the segments are funny or not. And this time the batting average is a...

The movie awards season will march on over the next few days, with a handful of films expected to receive elevated profiles as the push toward the Oscars continues. When the Golden Globes (which air this Sunday, January 16) and the Critic's Choice Awards (which air Friday, January 14 on VH1 and will be covered extensively both on MTV News and on the MTV Movies Blog) hand out their prizes, you can expect big 2010 releases like "The Social Network," "The King's Speech" and "Black Swan" to get called out repeatedly. 'Jackass 3D' movie delivered lots of shocking, disgusting stunts. Paramount Pictures released their new reality flick "Jackass 3D" into theaters this weekend. I just checked it out,and was very shocked at some of the stunts they pulled. I mean some of them were just outright gross. They definitely went more for the nasty stuff in this one. The movie stars: Johnny Knoxville, Bam Margera, Ryan Dunn, Steve-o, Jason “Wee Man” Acuña, Chris Pontius, Preston Lacy, Dave England, and Ehren McGhehey. In "Jackass 3D," all the crazy boys from the first two original Jackass movies returned to the big screen to shock us with more crazy violent, disturbing, and just outright nasty stunts. As usual Johnny Knoxville showed up in most of the scenes. They also threw in some acting skits in between the stunts. One skit consisted Jason "Wee Man" Acura getting into a bar fight with another midget.

Before Johnny Knoxville had his "Jackass" show on MTV, he was still performing stunts that would shock many people. But there is one stunt that the network and even his "Jackass" crew (including Jeff Tremain, Wee-Man and Ehren McGhehey) don't want to discuss out of fear that someone may try it at home. MTV reporters went on to find out about the stunt and were surprised that Knoxville was willing to talk about it. "That was a 'Big Brother' video, like, over 13, 14 years ago," he explained. "I shot myself in the chest with a bulletproof vest. I had a .38. I was really hoping the vest worked, because I didn't have any money at the time, and I could only afford the cheapest vest possible." The stunt obviously didn't kill Knoxville, but it also didn't help him with his career since everyone he sent the tape to avoided it at all cost.

Top critics gave new 'Jackass 3D' movie mixed reviews. Paramount Pictures released their new reality/comedy flick "Jackass 3D" into theaters today, and the top critics gave it pretty mixed reviews with Bs,Cs,Ds,and even an F. The movie stars: Johnny Knoxville, Bam Margera, Ryan Dunn, Steve-o, Jason “Wee Man” Acuña, Chris Pontius, Preston Lacy, Dave England, and Ehren McGhehey. Owen Gleiberman at Entertainment Weekly gave it a B rating. He said, 'More than ever, Johnny Knoxville and his boys belong to a very elite club of idiocy. They martyr themselves for our diversion, driven at every moment to ask: Are you not entertained?" Justin Chang at Variety gave it a B. He said, "A joyous, liberated approach to comedy, a genuine sense of the grotesque and pacing so relentless that even the less-than-uproarious bits don't overstay their welcome."...

Last weekend, I had the opportunity to watch a preview of Jackass 3D, released nationwide today. Having not seen any of the Jackass movies, I can flat out guarantee that this will dwarf the success of the group's previous cinematic outings - not only because of the 3D component (which is made excellent use of), but as much due to the sheer inventiveness, outrageousness and utter hilarity of most of their stunts. Dubbed by some as nothing but a bunch of gloriously deranged lunatics (they are, but that's beside the point), the members of Jackass are equally entitled to be seen as a crew of modern day daredevils, constantly pushing themselves to perform ever more dangerous feats for the pure thrill of doing so. After watching the movie, I joined a roundtable interview with this colorful cast of characters (Johnny Knoxville, Bam Magera, Preston Lacy, Jason "Wee-Man" Acuna, Dave England,...

In the beginning, there was Johnny Knoxville and a bunch of his pals, none with any regard for their personal safety or physical well-being. Then came a TV show, followed by two feature films. Over $160 million in box-office receipts later, the boys from "Jackass" are back to do it all over again. In 3-D.
Why? Because they still have no regard for their personal safety or physical well-being. What they do have is a scary list of broken bones, burned flesh and the emotional scars of stunts far too gross to detail here. Yep, they've got all that, plus the willingness to go to any length for a laugh.
You'll be doing a heck of a lot of laughing during "Jackass 3D." You could cry as well,...

It's the stunt no Jackass wants to discuss: the time before Johnny Knoxville had a show on MTV and he decided to shoot himself in the chest with a gun. Apparently there's footage out there of the incident, but it's seemingly never been seen by a wide viewership. Is the stunt just a rumor — part of Knoxville's pre-"Jackass" lore — or did it really happen?
When the topic first popped up during an interview with MTV News, co-star Jason "Wee-Man" Acuña quickly quieted down his pals.
"I don't think they're going to show that!" he said.
A few days later, on the red carpet at the premiere for "Jackass 3D," we posed the question about the gun stunt to co-star Ehren McGhehey. "I know...

It.s been ten years since .Jackass. conquered pop culture. Since then, the boutique MTV show went on to become a multi-million dollar film franchise. A decade later, the merry band of rabble rousers is a bit older but not necessarily wiser.
.Jackass 3D. features the same brand of humor we.ve all grown accustomed to. The third installment is bigger, funnier, and messier. This full-feature film even employs 3D technology just to prove that in three-dimension even poop will look cinematically appetizing.
Team leader Johnny Knoxville returns with his uninhibited cohorts namely Bam Margera, Chris Pontius, Steve-o, Dave England, Ryan Dunn, Wee Man, Preston Lacy, and Ehren McGhehey. The group performs unbelievable acts that will either make you laugh or gag you into full submission.
