"90210" might be shedding a few cast members for Season 5, but look at the bright side: that leaves room for new ones. Zap2it has learned that Trai Byers and Wes Brown are joining the cast for recurring roles in Season 5.
Byers will play Alec, an Ivy League hotshot, tech-savvy guy who also happens to be Max's business partner. Both charming and attractive (as if there's any other kind on this show), he's fiercely protective and much more focused on his work than his personal relationships.
Meanwhile, Wes Brown will recur as Taylor, a hot club promoter who's irresistible to the ladies. He uses his charm, determination and wit to get what he wants, but he's ultra focused on his career. He also loves music and has an eye for new talent, like Adrianna (Jessica Lowndes).
Brown is no stranger to The CW, having guest-starred as handsome veterinarian/sort-of Rachel Bilson love interest Dr.

Two hot male actors are coming to The CW’s favorite zip code.
The first is Wes Brown, who played Luke McDonald in season two of HBO’s True Blood, and had an arc on The CW’s Hart of Dixie. He will appear in 90210′s fifth season as Taylor, a recurring role. The character is described as “a hot, club promoter who is irresistible to women and is used to getting what he wants through charm, determination and wit. A True Blood Enters Private Practice Season 5
There’s some new blood entering ABC’s Private Practice in the form of Wes Brown, and it looks like his appearance will be an explosive one… although not as explosive as his role on HBO’s True Blood. Brown, who True Blood fans will recognize as Fellowship of the Sun suicide bomber Luke McDonald, is joining Dr. Addison Montgomery and the rest of the gang on Private Practice as Ryan.Ryan will be a recurring character in four episodes of the ABC drama, with his first appearance occurring on Episode 6 as a character described by TVLine as “a handsome stranger who will figure into Amelia’s ongoing addiction storyline. And not necessarily in a good way.”
Private Practice premieres on September 29th.
In addition to stirring up trouble for Amelia, Brown, who was also in NBC’s Trauma, will also be showing up in the Sci-fi movie,...

Photo: HBO I read several comments around the Internet with people saying how the first episode of the second season of "True Blood" was a bit of a disappointment, but if you read my review you would have known the first episode sets up something of a four episode story arc with the following episodes adding much more to the action side of things. This week we move on to episode 2.02, "Keep This Party Going" I have to first ask how happy you were to see Lafayette (Nelsan Ellis) wasn't the one dead in the back of Detective Bellefleur's (Chris Bauer) car? For those of you that enjoyed seeing Lafayette alive, yet not well living in Eric's (Alexander Skarsgard) dungeon, you get plenty more of his story in this one. As a matter of fact, contemplate on the thought of Lafayette as a vampire... What? Not saying anymore... Eric's involvement...

The Western movie genre is something most of us consider a relic from the 1950s, and yet, two of the better regarded films – The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance and El Dorado – are products of the 1960s, even though they feel older given the changes to American cinema in that decade. Both movies, coming out Tuesday as part of Paramount Home Video’s Centennial Collection, are both solid and entertaining.
The former may be best recalled for line, "This is the west, sir. When the legend becomes fact, print the legend." It stars James Stewart and John Ford playing entirely different kinds of men of the west. Wayne was a rancher, a fairly decent sort but narrow-minded, prone to jealousy, and believed using a gun was essential to surviving on the frontier. Stewart, a lawyer by training, came west to start his career. Both loved Hallie (Vera Miles) and had...
