Jesse McCartney is a name that pop music lovers from the ’00s will never forget.
Many fans met him as a member of the boyband Dream Street, but he found breakout success as a solo artist. Jesse‘s discography features hits such as “Leavin’,” “Body Language,” and “Just So You Know,” and as a songwriter he helped pen Leona Lewis‘s enduring smash “Bleeding Love.”
That was just the start for him, though, and he’s continued to grow and explore new projects over the years.
On Friday (April 5), he dropped a new EP titled All’s Well. The five-song collection features a cheeky collab with Yung Gravy called “Make a Baby.” As the title implies, it’s all about the excitement and challenges of family planning, something that he and wife Katie Peterson are currently familiar with.
Next up, he embarks on the All’s Well Tour in a week.

T-Pain says he plans to continue to write country music songs as a ghostwriter.
The singer-songwriter-producer recently made headlines when he revealed that he stopped taking credit for the country songs he’s worked on because of the “racism” he dealt with in the genre.
“I wrote a lot of country songs, and the country songs that I get credit on — I wouldn’t say backlash or anything like that — but [there] was a lot of criticism of, ‘Why did they let a Black person be a part of this?’ or things like that. It was just a lot of that stuff. So I kind of just backed off from putting my name on things and just collect the money,” he tells The Hollywood Reporter. “I don’t need to be known for any of that. That’s fine.”
“I’m a ghostwriter [and] it’s just easier,” he continues. “Why not?...

Spoiler Alert: Do not read ahead if you have not watched “The Masked Singer” Season 6, Episode 11, “Group A Finale,” which aired December 2 on Fox.
“The Masked Singer” has gotta have Faith. Singer Faith Evans was unmasked as the Skunk on the eleventh episode of Season 6, “Group A Finale.” She didn’t stink — actually, the show’s panelists argued that her performance might be one of the best in “Masked Singer” history. But nonetheless, with the Group A finals coming down to her and the Bull, the Skunk lost out.
Because it was just down to two finalists, after performing their initial songs, the contestants also sang a second number as a duet with a guest. Skunk was paired with Michael Bolton, while Bull sang with Jesse McCartney, who appeared as the Turtle in Season 3 (and ended in second place).

Why isn’t “The Masked Singer” on tonight, Wednesday, November 24? Due to the long Thanksgiving holiday weekend, the Group A Finals will take place next week instead, on Wednesday, December 1. That’s when Bull and Skunk will compete against each other to win a spot in the Season 6 finale. (Fox’s “Alter Ego” is also delayed for one week.) Unlike past editions of “Tms,” this season’s two groups have been kept completely apart from each other, so much so that they won’t meet up until the final episode — that’s when the winner of the Group A Finals (Bull or Skunk) will compete against the winner of the Group B Finals (Queen of Hearts or Banana Split).

Chicago – Dennis Dugan, in directing Adam Sandler (“Happy Gilmore”), Chris Farley (“Beverly Hills Ninja”) and John Ritter (“Problem Child”), can rightly be considered a comedy director icon. He also for his latest film, “Love, Weddings & Other Disasters,” developed the story and wrote the screenplay for the first time.
An impending wedding is the backdrop for the film, as it weaves multiple storylines regarding the search for love by a colorful group of characters. They include an inexperienced wedding planner nicknamed “The Wedding Trasher” (Maggie Grace), a fussy celebrity caterer (Jeremy Irons) negotiating a “blind date” (Diane Keaton) and a Duck Boat tour guide (Andrew “King Bach” Bachelor) looking for his Cinderella. It all comes together, connecting the love encounters and the nuptials. The film also features Melinda Hill, Jesse McCartney and even director Dugan takes a role.

We haven’t seen the Crocodile perform on “The Masked Singer” since he won a place in the top six back on November 18. He returns to compete on the December 2 episode, “The Semi Finals – The Super Six.” Of the half dozen celebrities still in the hunt for the Golden Mask, the Crocodile has one of the strongest voices. He won his place in the semi-final with his searing cover of “Bleeding Love” by Leona Lewis.
We’ve watched that performance over and over, as well as his first two appearances when he nailed his cover of the Bon Jovi classic “It’s My Life” and made the Britney Spears signature tune “Toxic” his own. The audience of “The Masked Singer” may have had their say, but our Derbyites are determined to have their voices heard about what went down on the Season 3 finale. They voted in our poll and a surprising 57% of our readers say the coveted Golden Mask should have gone to pop star Jesse McCartney, who competed as the Turtle. That’s over 20 points more than those who thought Kandi Burruss (Night Angel) was rightfully crowned the winner, which totaled 35% of our respondents. Only 8% believed that the trophy should have gone to Bow Wow (Frog). Do you agree with our readers that McCartney was robbed? Be sure to let us know in the comments below.

After being unmasked as the Frog during Wednesday’s finale of “The Masked Singer” Season 3, Bow Wow says “it’s weird” not wearing his big-eyed, purple-hatted mask. In his post-show interview (watch above), the rapper reveals, “This ‘Masked Singer’ experience for me has been terrific. I learned a lot about myself. I learned to just try new things, jump out the box. At first I was like, I don’t know, a new tour coming up, what if I get out there and I snap my ankle?” Ultimately he signed up for Fox’s reality TV show to “see how far the talent can really go,” and it paid off as he came in third place behind only Kandi Burruss (Night Angel) and Jesse McCartney (Turtle).

Some people might turn staying home into a time to take it easy, but for Jesse McCartney, it's time to put in work. The "Better With You" singer is creating at-home comedy skits with his fiancée Katie Peterson, filming music videos, and oh yeah, sneakily avoiding my questions about The Masked Singer.
Perhaps the most exciting of all of McCartney's projects (and there are many) is the new music he's releasing. He kicked things off with "Yours" back in April - a nostalgic look back at his defining eras over the past two decades - followed by "Friends," a different kind of love song.
"I feel like in pop you always hear about these romantic relationships, there's always love songs. I don't know, I kind of wanted to write a love song for my friends," McCartney told Popsugar. "I think for many people their friends are as close to them as their family.

The performances are done, the masks have come off, Ken Jeong gave his last wrong guess and when all the smoke had cleared, the Night Angel was named the winner of the third season of “The Masked Singer” and revealed to be Grammy-winning singer-songwriter and reality TV star Kandi Burruss. Burruss brought the season to a close on Wednesday night’s finale with her performance of “River Deep, Mountain High” by Tina Turner.

Multi-platinum singer-songwriter and actor Jesse McCartney was just shy of taking home the Golden Mask trophy on Wednesday’s finale of “The Masked Singer.” As the Turtle, he placed second behind the Night Angel (Kandi Burruss) but edged out the Frog (Bow Wow), who placed third. Panelists Jenny McCarthy and Nicole Scherzinger both correctly guessed his identity but Robin Thicke thought the Turtle was singer Adam Lambert while Ken Jeong was certain it was newlywed Nick Jonas. Kandi Burruss made history when she became the first woman to win “The Masked Singer” on Wednesday’s finale. The Grammy-winning singer-songwriter took down the Turtle (Jesse McCartney) and the Frog (Bow Wow) to win the Season 3 title and the coveted Golden Mask trophy. Panelists Jenny McCarthy and Robin Thicke both correctly guessed her identity, but Ken Jeong incorrectly named actress Tisha Campbell as the Night Angel while Nicole Scherzinger thought it was “Empire” star Taraji P. Henson. Watch the Night Angel’s performance of “River Deep, Mountain High” by Tina Turner above.
“It feels incredible!” exclaimed Burruss when host Nick Cannon asked her how it felt to become the first woman to win. “For a long time I really stopped singing by myself. You get negative feedback so it kind of messes with your head. I had really stopped and I really appreciate you guys for helping me build my confidence back up.
