Dr. Evil. Fembots. Mini-Me. You’re probably a fan of the Austin Powers movies if these names mean anything. The films were produced and written by Mike Myers, who also starred as the title character and Dr. Evil.
The franchise parodies numerous films and characters, including the James Bond series and Jason King. It also incorporates various other elements of popular culture, following a British spy’s quest to bring his nemesis down.
The movies are filled with humor, action, and references to pop culture, making them timeless classics. If you want to watch the Austin Powers movies in order, you’ve come to the right place. There are three Austin Powers Movies; the first film in the Austin Powers series was produced by Mike Myers, Demi Moore, Jennifer Todd, and Suzanne Todd. However, the last two Austin Powers films were also made by John S. Lyons and Eric McLeod.

Shots were fired, loyalties were tested, and characters encountered true evil in Monday’s Season 1 finale of A&E’s Damien. With the first season now in the books, Daily Dead had a chance to catch up with executive producer/showrunner Glen Mazzara, who discussed Damien’s journey so far, working with his outstanding ensemble of actors, the intense Season 1 finale, and what to expect in future episodes if the show is green-lit for a second season.
Now that the whole first season of Damien has aired and you have a little time to reflect, what goals are you the most proud of accomplishing on this journey so far?
Glen Mazzara: I’m most proud of the writers remaining committed to the story. When you lay out a season, there’s a lot of input from different voices throughout the entire filmmaking process. We set out to develop a...

Life hasn’t gotten easier for Damien Thorn since his nanny jumped off the building ledge in The Omen. A&E’s new sequel series to Richard Donner’s film shows that being the Antichrist isn’t one big devilish party, but rather a hellish struggle for your very soul. Daily Dead recently had the opportunity to watch the first five episodes of the series, and it was a hell of a lot of fun to watch.
The series picks up with Damien Thorn (Bradley James) at the ripe age of 30. Years after his father’s attempt to kill him with the Megiddo daggers, Damien still hasn’t sprouted horns and doesn’t sit on a throne of fire while the world bows at his hooved feet. Instead, Damien is quite human and has an occupation you might not expect: war photographer.

The Antichrist is coming to A&E on March 7th with the premiere of Damien, a sequel series to 1976’s The Omen. Ahead of the show’s debut, Daily Dead recently took part in a conference call with Damien executive producer and showrunner Glen Mazzara. In addition to discussing his new series, Mazzara also recalled one of his favorite memories from working on The Walking Dead and talked briefly about studying Stanley Kubrick’s style while writing Overlook Hotel, a prequel to The Shining.

Broadcaster expected to decide on new Film4 head in July, Screen looks at some likely candidates.
Film4 is getting closer to appointing its new boss, with a second round of interviews understood to be underway now.
Speculation is rife within the UK industry as to potential suitors for the job, which is widely regarded as one of the most coveted in the business — in the UK and abroad.
While former Focus Features CEO James Schamus was tipped by many as a front-runner for the job a few weeks ago, the executive is now understood to be unlikely to take on the role, preferring to concentrate on his own slate (he is Ang Lee’s long-time producer) and remain in the Us.
But Film4 is still understood to be considering an international hire with a leading candidate known to be London-based David Kosse, president of international for Universal, who chose not to move to La when Universal recently...

There's nothing that modern comedy films like better than adding an elder-statesman acting veteran to ground proceedings. Hence the Tina Fey and Amy Poehler vehicle The Nest has just gained James Brolin. He'll be bringing the gravitas as the pair's father.Jason Moore (Pitch Perfect) is directing the film, which finds two sisters coming home to discover that their parents are selling the family home and moving to a small condo, so that the girls will need to find alternative lodgings now that the “nest” is no longer open to them. As a last hurrah at the old homestead, they decide to spend a final weekend there together, throwing what Deadline describe as "a rager". Ike Barinholtz (The Mindy Project, Eastbound And Down) is set to play a neighbor with amorous designs on Fey’s character. Fey and Poehler's SNL colleague and frequent collaborator Paula Pell wrote the script, and...

ABC Studios has bought the rights to David France's Oscar-nominated documentary "How to Survive a Plague" in hopes of turning it into a mini-series, according to the Hollywood Reporter. France's documentary about Act Up, a group of citizen activists who challenged the federal government's sclerotic approach to AIDS research and treatment in the late '80s and '90s, consists primarily of contemporary footage shot by journalists and the activists themselves. ABC Studios, a production company owned by the Disney/ABC Television Group, hopes to develop the film into a scripted adaptation that would delve more deeply into the issues covered by "How to Survive." Producer John Lyons will join the project as an executive producer along with France and "How to Survive" producer Howard Gertler. "These activists may have had to train themselves for the battle, but they were incredibly media savvy and were constantly filming everything," Lyons told the Hollywood Reporter.

How To Survive A Plague may not have walked away with an Academy Award on Sunday, but the story could have a longer life yet. Thursday, ABC Studios announced that they had optioned the rights to the David France documentary about a group of HIV-positive activists fighting for their lives and the lives of their friends, who managed to get the pharmaceutical industry to focus on testing and identifying new treatments for AIDS. While the film was a documentary mainly drawing from interviews and news footage, the miniseries will be scripted. France confirmed the news to EW.
