Actor Victor's first important role was as Charlie the cook in
King Kong (1933),
although his appearance was unbilled. The role was to have been
confined to a single scene but producer/directors
Ernest B. Schoedsack and
Willis H. O'Brien
enjoyed the actor's work so much they expanded his role during
shooting. Victor returned in the role of Charlie in the hastily
assembled sequel
Son of Kong (1933) and was given screen credit this time.
