Outstanding Musical Production.
Was nominated for three Tony Awards: in 1961 as Best Director
(Dramatic) for Brendan Behan's "The Hostage;" and in 1965, as both Best
Director (Musical) and as the devisor of Best Musical nominee "Oh! What
a Lovely War."
