A cacophony from the people scurrying through the capital's streets seeps through the walls as I sit in the basement at Close-Up Film Center—a small cinema and film library in Shoreditch—with Darragh Amelia. She is one half of the duo at the helm of Ajabu Ajabu, the Tanzania-based collective of arts professionals pushing for visibility and increased access for the country's experimental film scene.
