- Corey Lee is an award-winning filmmaker working in narrative and documentary, and based in Calgary, Alberta. His work has screened on Netflix, Amazon, CBC's Documentary Channel, CCTV China, CMT, Telus, Bravo, Movie Central and in theaters across Canada and festivals around the world. His feature documentary Legend of a Warrior premiered at Hot Docs. Other non-fiction work includes All the World's a Stage, Rare Mettle, a portrait of Canadian Paralympic athletes and The Harder I Fight, a limited series showcasing women in combat sports. He has also written and directed episodes of CMT's Pet Heroes. Additional work includes Secret Alberta POW's on the Prairies and Us/Them, a look at people working in harm reduction on the front lines of the Opioid crisis in Red Deer, Alberta. Corey's most recent scripted work is the digital series Realization, which follows an ambitious trailblazer who launches a business that provides made-to-order relationships. His dramatic feature, Defining Edward, launched at the ReelWorld Film Festival and he has crafted a variety of dramatic short films including The Perfection of the Moment, What You're Ready For, and In Translation which were adapted from the Giller Prize nominated collection, Kilter: 55 fictions, by John Gould.
