Bogdan Koca is a Polish-born Australian actor. He graduated from the Aleksander Zelwerowicz Theatre Academy in Warsaw. He started his acting career in Poland in the role of Henryk in "Slub" by
Witold Gombrowicz, directed by
Jerzy Grzegorzewski at the Polish Theatre in Wroclaw on January 6, 1976. His first movie role was in a Polish movie,
Kochaj albo rzuc (1977). In 1981, he left Poland and arrived in Australia in 1983. He has played various screen roles, including
Alexandra's Project (2003) and
The Proposition (2005). His Australian theater career includes "My Name is Such and Such", "Conrad Knowles" and "Sparring Partner". For his performance in
Ghosts... of the Civil Dead (1988), he was nominated for the 1989 Australian Film Institute Award for Best Actor in a Supporting Role.
