What If The True Face Of The Christian right in America is not that of Dr. James Dobson or Jerry Falwell or Pat Robertson; not that of an aging, comb-over preacher orange with pancake makeup, smiling orca rows of ungodly white teeth on The O’Reilly Factor or Hardball? Nor that of spittle-flecked Fred Phelps of Topeka, Kansas, roaring that God hates fags? What if the true face of the Christian right is, instead, that of a twenty-four-year-old religious-studies...

As the No. 1 killer of Americans, heart disease is a major concern for many. In the above clip, cardiologist Dr. John Kennedy discusses heart health with "The Doctors" and reveals the results of co-host Dr. Drew Ordon's own heart stress test.
Dr. Kennedy explains that people with one or more of these five risk factors should consider seeing a cardiologist or internist to be monitored for heart issues: high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes, smoking and family history of premature coronary disease. Your physician may run tests to assess your heart health, including a stress test.
So what exactly is a stress test? Watch the above clip to see how stress tests work and what they can reveal about your heart's health. And check out the video to see the results of Dr. Ordon's personal stress test.

It’s been a while since we’ve checked in with my dear mother on her thoughts about The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. But hey, it’s Tuesday, it’s Thanksgiving week, and why shouldn’t we give thanks for her colorful, if not sometimes controversial, stances on these beloved ladies of primetime television. So let us turn to Judy Collins for her thoughts on last night’s episode, “The Great Divide.” On Taylor’S Daughter Kennedy Well I want to tell you I got really riled up. But let’s start with that little girl Kennedy. First of all, I really hate when people give little girls someone’s last name. Kennedy’s not a kid’s name! I know children, their name is Aniston. Really? Where did you get that from? Meanwhile last year, Kennedy’s party cost over $50,000, and the kid is miserable. Never smiles, thin-lipped misery this girl.

"Thou shalt not overspend" is rapidly becoming a tenet of the evangelical belief system, rivaling social issues like gay marriage. Can the gospel of thrift save our economy?
The priorities of white evangelical Christians, about 60 million strong, have driven the culture wars for decades. It was they who formed the Moral Majority in the 1970s, which helped elect Ronald Reagan in a landslide in 1980. And it was their children-some of them, anyway-who strayed from their parents' interpretations of faith and helped elect Barack Obama in 2008. Politically active, evangelicals have fought with varying degrees of success against abortion, same-sex marriage, and the teaching of evolution in public schools.
