There are many great sales online this week, but the folks at Amazon are treating us to something special: 3 Warner Archive Blu-rays for $35.
While this might not be the lowest that we’ve seen prices on these Blu-rays (the WB Shop has had 5 for $50 sales in the past that have included Warner Archive Blu-rays), it is certainly a good deal on great films.
It looks as though many of these discs are selling quickly, and the time out from when they’ll ship for some of the more popular titles is growing. Below you’ll find a list of the titles which are included in this promotion.
As always, these are affiliate links and will help support this site, should you choose to make any purchases through them.

The title of Miss Universe went to Miss Colombia Paulina Vega, so why was Miss Jamaica's Kaci Fennell dominating social media?
Many felt that Fennell was robbed of the crown, taking to Twitter to voice their unhappiness and even created the hashtag, #MissJamaicaShouldHaveWon, which trended Sunday evening.
As soon as I saw Miss Jamaica, I knew she was the winner. And apparently so did everyone else. #MissUniverse Robbed.

I'm so proud. Truly. That hashtag didn't start in Jamaica and is being carried by non-Jamaicans. I'm so proud! #MissJamaicaShouldHaveWon

So true #MissJamaicaShouldHaveWon I was expecting her to win after the question and answer portion. With grace did she answer it

For several years now – at least since 2010, in fact – Reese Witherspoon has harboured a desire to portray iconic singer Peggy Lee. Nora Ephron was attached at one point to write and direct the biopic, but her death stymied the project. Now the film has a new director aboard, with Far From Heaven’s Todd Haynes set to call the shots.Peggy Lee might not be quite as well known as, say, June Carter, who Witherspoon played to Oscar-winning effect in Walk The Line, but she had quite a career, and had her most enduring hit with the classic Fever. She got her start working with Benny Goodman’s band before recording albums and film soundtracks. She then stepped in front of the camera for movies including 1953’s The Jazz Singer and 1955’s Pete Kelly’s Blues. She also provided songs and her vocal talents to Disney's Lady & The Tramp, though...

Social networking site Facebook has led to a resurgence in the sexually-transmitted disease syphilis, say health experts. The virus has increased fourfold in Sunderland, Durham and Teesside, the areas of Britain where Facebook is most popular, because it has given people a new way to meet multiple partners for casual sexual encounters, reported telegraph.co.uk. "Staff had found a link between social networking sites and the rise in cases, especially among young women. Syphilis is a devastating disease. Anyone who has unprotected sex with casual partners is at high risk," said Peter Kelly, director of public health in Teesside. "I don't ...
