In 2007, with Circa: he became the first Yes keyboard player to play Yes songs from every Yes 20th century line-up on stage. Covering the keyboard work of Rick Wakeman, Patrick Moraz, Geoff Downes and Igor Khoroshev. Khoroshev was a close second, however he did not play any of the Downes material on stage. In 2015, however, Geoff Downes became the second Yes keyboard player to do this, whilst with Yes.
Was briefly engaged to Carmen Squire in the early/mid 1990s, at the same time he was playing in Yes with her stepfather Chris Squire who was particularly pleased when they separated.
Original Yes keyboard player, having joined the proto-Yes group Mabel Greer's Toyshop in July 1968, a short time before they changed their name to Yes in August 1968.
