Actress Naama Kates loves her craft because it involves sharing. Naama remembers being a little kid and playing pretend type games with her friends and always taking her characters more seriously. With a career like acting, the Ohio native took her talents to New York City right after high school. Since she started her career, Naama has traveled all over for different projects-- around the states, including Europe. In 2008 Naama moved to Los Angeles. In the last four years, Naama started working on a lot of independent films with varying budgets. Her first project was a...

The very definition of an "offbeat" comedy, My Normal stars Nicole Laliberte as Natalie, a down-to earth lesbian dominatrix who dreams of becoming a filmmaker. Light, quirky, and very playful, it's probably the only film about Bdsm that you could comfortably take your mother to see.
Natalie is immediately likable. The early scenes establish her as a master of her kinky profession, while still remaining a likable, friendly, girl-next-door kind of lady. She and three of her closest friends do "sessions" where they dominate their willing, paying, male clientele. Together and individually (depending on the client's preference), they ply the trade of Bdsm, then hang out and go for drinks afterward.
Natalie is a lesbian, a fact that is casually broached early on in the film, but it has no bearing on her profession. She and her partners in domination, Sonia (Maine Anders), and Melanie (Naama Kates), see themselves as "alternative therapists,...

Brian S- Hi Melanie, so how'd you get into acting?
Melanie- When I was very young we discovered that I was able to memorize movie dialogs by listening, and then I would do one man shows. Complete with voice and expression changes. I remember my sisters and I would reenact the songs in Annie.

-Interview by Nic Brown-
Actress and model Melanie Robel is a self-described, modern day gypsy. Her affinity for travel has served her well, allowing her to take advantage of acting roles where ever the opportunity arises. What kind of roles? She’s played a post-apocalyptic assassin, a monster in a bikini, and an even worse kind of monster: a bitchy, wannabe model!
One thing Melanie doesn’t play at though is her career. She’s not afraid to try challenging new roles. That’s how this young actress has amassed an impressive list of credits in just a few short years! Melanie took a short break from her work to talk to B Movie Man Nic Brown about making movies, her secret vice, and why we might think she’s nerdy, but dedicated to the art of acting!

You know what's fun? Orgies. You know what is also cool? Blood. So you can imagine my excitement when I was invited out to the set for Creep Creepersin's new flick Orgy of Blood.
I was sent out to this giant Gothic looking mansion in the outskirts of the Hollywood Hills area and began having a slight panic attack with the thought that maybe this wasn't just a set visit but a clever ruse by a group of vampire filmmakers to capture a member of the press and torture and maim him until there was nothing left.
Obviously I was apprehensive when I got onto set, but I was immediately greeted by Creep himself, who looked tired and excited all at once.
“This is the hardest thing I've ever done, but it is so worth all the sacrifice,” Creep tells me while they set up the next shot.
The story focuses on Fosco,...
