- Originated the role of the Moderator in the World Premiere of 'An Evening With Jack Klugman' at the Falcon Theatre in the Fall of 2003. Also took over the role of Eddie, the Stage Manager, in 'The Sunshine Boys' starring Dick Van Patten & Frank Gorshin at the same theatre in July of 2001.
- Starred in his own weekly comedy/variety show, 'Shane & Rowan's Late Nite Sideshow' for over 6 months at the ACME Comedy Theatre in Hollywood, California in 2001.
- Starred in (and directed) the stage comedy "The Queen of Bingo" at the Coronet Theatre in Los Angeles, Sept. 2006 through Feb 2007.
- (2003 - 2008) Producing Director for acclaimed writer/director, Garry Marshall. Under his management, Marshall's Falcon Theatre (Garry Marshall Theatre) in Burbank, CA established itself as one of the premiere, professional theaters in Southern California. Joseph produced over 50 different productions starring such notable actors as Rami Malek, Joe Mantegna, Yeardley Smith, Ana Ortiz, Daniel Stern, Charles Durning, Jack Klugman, and Michael Learned to name a few.
- (2013 - 2020) Joseph served as the Producing Artistic Director of the Totem Pole Playhouse, outside Gettysburg, PA, for six critically-acclaimed seasons. The NY Times called Totem Pole, "the Cadillac of Summer Theaters." Under his management, the legendary Playhouse was saved from bankruptcy and moved into the black for the first time in 30+ years.
- (2021) Joseph and writing partner, Derek Heeren, have written "The Pottsville Maroons," based on the early days of the National Football League and the true story of a coal miner who traded in his pick-ax for a football, carrying his small town's team to the 1925 NFL Championship, only to have it unjustly stripped away. The screenplay was initially developed as a co-production with Penny Marshall. NFL Hall of Fame Sportswriter, Ray Didinger, is the film's Story Consultant. Joseph & Heeren's second screenplay, "The Hex," is a teen horror/suspense/romance set in the Pennsylvania Amish country.
- (2008 - 2022) Producer/Director, Greenwood Hill Productions. The company's first feature, Dalton Trumbo's "Johnny Got His Gun," was released and distributed by Magnolia Pictures' Truly Indie. Joseph directed the film, which marked actor Ben McKenzie's (Gotham, Southland, and The O.C.) first starring role in a feature film.
