Who Should Play the "Forgotten" Hero?
If Aquaman is the one member of the Justice League that late night talk show hosts and sketch comics like to pick on for having "useless" powers like breathing underwater and communicating with marine life, Martian Manhunter is the one that nobody picks on...or even mentions...ever. The "forgotten" member of the Justice League, Martian Manhunter has been a member of the super-team since they first gathered together in the pages of The Brave and the Bold #28 (Feb./Mar. 1960) and is actually the most powerful of them all, possessing all of Superman's abilities, plus telepathy, invisibility, phasing and shape-shifting.
Martian Manhunter has received wider recognition in recent years thanks to appearances in various animated series, video games, and in the Smallville: Absolute Justice TV movie (played by Phil Morris), but he is still the only member of the Justice League that does...

With the film due for release on January 9th, we sat down with honorary Blogmatic3000 member Shannon Lee again to talk about the newest addition to Bruce Lee’s legacy The Legend of Bruce Lee. Check it out!
Aaron M.K.: Hello Mrs. Lee, How are you today?
Shannon Lee: I’m doing good, how are you?
Aaron M.K.: Great, I’m doing great! We’d like to talk a little about the movie you produced, The Legend of Bruce Lee. What can you tell us about it?
Shannon Lee: Well, The Legend of Bruce Lee is a cut down, edited version of the 50-part television series from China that aired on CCTV back in 2008 and it’s based on the biography on my father. They’ve cut it down- because 50 hours of television is quite a lot *laugh*- so it can be condensed...

It's only a matter of hours now until "Smallville" ends its record-breaking, 10-year run, but as everyone looks forward to tonight's series finale, it's important to not forget about the ten years of adventures that brought us to this point.
As part of our big send-off for The CW's superhero drama, MTV News spoke to "Smallville" producers Kelly Souders and Brian Peterson about the upcoming finale, as well as the highlights, surprises, and lessons learned from a decade charting the growth of one of the world's greatest heroes.
Oh, and don't worry about any spoilers, folks. We don't want to ruin our last adventure with the "Smallville" gang any more than you do.
MTV News: You two have had such direct involvement with "Smallville" for so many years now, I can't even imagine how you approached the task of ending the series and tying up loose ends. When it came...

Smallville’s momentous journey from man-to-Superman has enthralled viewers for the past decade. For any show, 10 years is remarkable by any measure, and for Smallville it is a simultaneous passing of the torch and the solidifying of a legacy. Not wanting to leave the fans hanging or wanting for anything, executive producers Kelly Souders and Brian Peterson have made it their mission to jam-pack as much of the significant elements of both Superman-mythology and Smallville into this final season. Then as the show came down to the wire, they tried to squish even more into the two-hour finale. At a special sneak peek screening, members of the press were treated to a glimpse of what that finale will offer. Suffice it to say, fans will be really happy. In fact, there just might be shouts of joy and jubilation as each new surprise is unveiled.

It’s going to be a little over a month until the next episode of Smallville, and after they left us with such a great episode cliffhanger, I thought it only prudent to curb my addiction by looking back at the last nine seasons and sort through, and try to find out just what were the best episodes of this re-telling of Superman’s origin. It is a bit of a daunting task, because not every episode is gold, but when this show is on form, it’s fantastic.

Clark and his friends are all excited because they’re finally old enough to buy class rings. Jonathan advises against it, and tells Clark to save his money for something he actually needs, but since all the other kids are getting one, he has to have one too. Unfortunately, the company has saved a buck by using not rubies,...
