Los Angeles, CA, United States (Ahn Entertainment) - Shania Twain appeared on "The Oprah Winfrey Show" on Tuesday for her first interview in five years. With Oprah, Twain discussed not only her divorce, but how she thought she would never sing again.
Back in 2008, Twain discovered that her best friend and her husband, Robert John "Mutt" Lange, had fallen for each other. Lange was also her producer and co-writer, who collaborated with her on her multi-platinum albums "The Woman in Me," "Come On Over," and "Up."
"I figured mentally that I would never sing again," she told Oprah. But the struggle would not only be mental but physical. Twain also revealed that she suffered from dysphonia, a vocal disorder which in Twain's case was brought on by stress and anxiety.
"My fears and anxieties throughout my whole life have been slowly squeezing my voice," Twain said. "I was losing it slowly and progressively.

After two strikes with "Songs About Jane" and "It Won't Be Soon Before Long", Maroon 5 will be back with a new album which takes more than two years to craft. "Hands All Over" is hoped to nail the band deeper on the ground following 15 million gold and platinum albums sold worldwide in 35 countries.
The new album has boasted "Misery" which is slowly climbing the Hot 100 chart and peaking at number 17. It has been a few years since we heard from Maroon 5, the multi-platinum-selling quintet from Los Angeles who have scored giant hits with tracks like "This Love," "She Will Be Loved," "Makes Me Wonder" and "Wake Up Call." Their last studio album was 2007's It Won't Be Soon Before Long, which lead the group on a world tour and found them rubbing elbows with some of the biggest stars in music (including tourmates OneRepublic and collaborator Rihanna).
The group spent the better part of 2009 in Switzerland with producer Robert John "Mutt" Lange (the man behind such stone cold classics as AC/DC's Back in Black, Def Leppard's Pyromania, Nickelback's Dark Horse and Shania Twain's Come On Over) to produce their latest album Hands All Over. The new collection of tunes is set to hit stores on September 21, but the single "Misery" just crash landed on the airwaves last week.

Joni Mitchell has criticized Bob Dylan as a "fake" and a "plagiarist" - insisting the folk legend's entire act is a "deception". Mitchell slammed the star during an interview with the Los Angeles Times, after her decision to change her name from Roberta Joan Anderson was likened to Dylan's move to drop his birth name of Robert Zimmerman.

Bob Dylan is fake, singer-songwriter Joni Mitchell strongly states. The "Blue" singer slammed the "Blowin' in the Wind" star, saying he's a "plagiarist" and "not authentic at all."
In an interview with the L.A. Times, Mitchell, 66, wasn't able to hold back words when Dylan's name was brought up. The interviewer pointed out that the songstress, born Roberta Joan Anderson, took the name Joni Mitchell, while Robert Allen Zimmerman took the name Bob Dylan.
