Scott Hates Woodcock + Dukes

6 June 2008 12:21 AM, PDT | From wenn.com | See recent WENN news

American Pie star Seann William Scott can't watch his performances in Mr. Woodcock or The Dukes Of Hazzard because both films are terrible.

The actor admits he started to realise the two movies would suck midway through the filming process - but, by then, it was too late for him to back out.

He says, "I actually didn't like Mr. Woodcock at all. It's the only movie I've ever done where, after 15 minutes, I couldn't watch anymore.

"I couldn't help but think that it could've been good; it could've been better - and that bothers me. Mr. Woodcock and Dukes Of Hazzard were pretty good projects on paper.

"Me and (Dukes co-star) Johnny Knoxville could've been fun but the fact that it was Pg-13 rated kind of ruined it."

But Scott still prides himself on the way he stuck with both films and gave his best every day: "I could have either gone home every day feeling depressed and going, 'This is gonna ruin my career', or do your best, cross your fingers and move on."

Steve-o: 'I'll Kick Drugs; Not Crazy Antics'

3 April 2008 5:25 AM, PDT | From wenn.com | See recent WENN news

Jackass prankster Steve-o has vowed to kick his drug and drink abuse for good - but will never tame his wild behaviour.

The reality TV star - real name Stephen Glover - is battling his drug and booze demons after checking himself into Los Angeles' Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where he received treatment following a reported suicide attempt last month. The hospital stay came only days after the troubled star was charged with possession of cocaine in Los Angeles.

Fellow Jackass star Johnny Knoxville forced the 33-year-old to seek treatment, after the self-destructive star began sending erratic emails to friends insisting he was "ready to die".

And although Glover is willing to give up his intoxicated lifestyle, he has no intention of quitting the hellraising stunts which made him a star on the hit show.

He says, "Everybody thinks I'm in the loony bin, but I'm actually in rehab. Everyone thinks Steve-o's going to be all tame... It's just the drugs and alcohol I want to be off."

Margera Predicted Steve-o Would Die In A Month

30 March 2008 3:52 PM, PDT | From wenn.com | See recent WENN news

Prankster Steve-o's Jackass co-star Bam Margera gave his pal a month to live earlier this year - because his drug use had spiraled out of control.

Margera admits Steve-o - real name Stephen Glover - turned to narcotics as soon as he woke up, and would be topping up his highs all day.

He tells Usmagazine.com, "I was like, 'I give him a month, and he'll be dead, guaranteed.'"

The troubled 33-year-old was charged with possession of cocaine earlier this month and just days after the incident, Steve-o checked himself into Los Angeles' Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where he received treatment following a reported suicide attempt.

Margera insists it was fellow Jackass co-star Johnny Knoxville who forced Steve-o to face his demons and seek help.

Although he was convinced Steve-o was heading for an early grave, Margera hopes his friend's spell in rehab, which began on 16 March, will save him.

Margera adds, "He's actually in high spirits from what I hear. He's happy in there and is making jokes about himself like, 'I officially made it to the loony bin!' He's a character.

"He's doing really good, which everybody is real glad about. He was really bonkers."

Steve-o: 'I Was Fed Booze As A Baby'

20 March 2008 8:02 AM, PDT | From wenn.com | See recent WENN news

Troubled Jackass star Steve-o has accused his parents of feeding him alcohol as a baby.

The stuntman claims his late mother, who was an alcoholic, and his father used to give him booze, so he wouldn't cry on public transport.

In his latest blog from a Los Angeles hospital, where he has been placed on a 14-day hold while medics observe his condition and behaviour, Steve-o writes: "Before Mom and Dad would find themselves in the embarrassing position of being caught by other passengers with a crying baby, I was fed alcohol....

"I know I was always powerless over alcoholism, because it had such a grip on Mom's adulthood and my childhood, and I never chose to fight it."

The 33-year-old was hospitalised on 9 March, after pals including his former Jackass co-star Johnny Knoxville "physically forced" him to seek help for his mental issues, including bipolar disorder that had left him suffering "high highs and extremely low lows".

Steve-o Blogs From 'The Looney Bin'

14 March 2008 12:16 PM, PDT | From wenn.com | See recent WENN news

Latest: Troubled Jackass star Steve-o has written a message to fans on his MySpace page from the psychiatric ward of a Los Angeles hospital.

The stuntman reveals pals including former Jackass co-star Johnny Knoxville "physically forced" him to seek help for his mental issues, including bipolar disorder that had left him suffering "high highs and extremely low lows".

After being taken to L.A.'s Thalian Mental Health Center, Steve-o was transferred to the Ceder's-Sinai Medical Center, where he has been placed on a 14-day hold, while medics observe his condition and behaviour.

In his blog - entitled You Should All Know I'm In The Looney Bin - Steve-o blames his condition on the lasting side effects of years of abusing drugs. He also apologises for the damage his behaviour has caused to loved ones.

The 33-year-old writes, "'Before the day when Johnny Knoxville, Jeff Tremaine, Big Regg, Swizz, Rick Kosick, Dimitry Elyaschevich, Cordell Mansfield, and Trip Taylor came to my home and, physically, forced me into the hospital, I had thought of 'bipolar' as a 'good' thing. I rationally deduced that, with our time in this life being so limited, it was productive to stick to nothing but extremely high 'highs', and extremely low 'lows.'

"I figured that, since I am an extraordinarily 'tough' individual, I could handle it.

"After four days in a psychiatric ward... I am no longer '5150-status' (which was the three-day 'hold' on me, resulting from suicidal behaviour). I am now '5250-status' (which means that the 'hold' has been extended to 14 days, for the exact same reasons).

"I'm not getting out of this 'insane asylum' any time in the immediate future, so, I'm going to learn as much from the experience as possible. So far, I've figured

out that I did a great deal of damage to my brain by abusing drugs and, now that they've all worn off, I'm facing the consequences."

Steve-o Tells Friends: I'm Paying for My Self-Destructive Behavior

14 March 2008 2:00 AM, PDT | From PEOPLE.com | See recent PEOPLE.com news

Jackass's Steve-o, who is currently hospitalized, poured his heart out to friends in an e-mail Friday – saying that "I did a great deal of damage to my brain" with drugs and "now that they've all worn off, I'm facing the consequences." The star (real name: Stephen Glover), known for outlandish stunts and reckless behavior, revealed in stark terms how he landed in the hospital on a 72-hour psychiatric hold – which he now says has been extended another 14 days. "I suppose it is an ironic 'eye for an eye' situation that I am in, coping with the lowest 'lows' that
