Jeremy Irvine and Phoebe Fox have signed on to star in the gothic horror sequel "The Woman in Black: Angel of Death" for Hammer Films.
Set four decades after events in last year's well-regard major feature adaptation of Susan Hill's classic tale, the story sees Eel Marsh House seized by the government during World War II. The sudden arrival of a group of evacuated children there awakens its darkest inhabitant.
Tom Harper helms the project which will include much of the same production team behind the first film, the highest grossing British horror film of the past twenty years with over $130 million worldwide.
Tobin Armbrust, Simon Oakes, Brian Oliver and Richard Jackson will produce.
