Bas Icke is a Dutch film-editor based in Amsterdam. He works in feature film and drama series.
After graduating from the Dutch Film Academy in 2001, he worked in a small post production facility where he cut his first feature and started editing several drama series. Since 2006 he has been editing independently, which led to the created studio space in Amsterdam called DC25, where he works with three fellow film-editors.
Bas has been editing with a very wide range of directors in many different genres. From comedy, heavy-drama, to full action feature films. Therefore he is experienced with handling VFX heavy films or series.
In 2003 he was nominated for a Golden Calf for Best Editing at the Dutch Film Festival (NFF) for the movie '15.35 Spoor 1' and in 2019 he was nominated for a Golden Calf for Best Editing at the Dutch Film Festival (NFF) for the movie 'The Marriage Escape'
And, he loves music!
