The always candid Kelly played Andy Cohen's popular game on Bravo's Watch What Happens Live on Thursday night, when the 32-year-old "Heartbeat Song" singer got defensive about her infamous August 2013 tweet calling out MTV's Video Music Awards performers that year.

The 24th annual Women in Film and TV Awards, held at the Park Lane Hilton in London yesterday, honoured Vanessa Redgrave with its Lifetime Achievement Award, sponsored by Eon Productions. She is pictured with David Hare, who presented her trophy. “Thank you beyond words,” Redgrave said. “Good luck to everybody who is trying to do good work in film and TV wherever they may be.”
Rosamund Pike was honoured with the Mac Best Performance Award for her role in Gone Girl. The heavily pregnant actress accepted with a charming video message that praised novelist Gillian Flynn and director David Fincher for taking a risk by casting her as Amy. She joked that she could give birth while the lunch was going on, and quipped that “it takes less time to make a human being than it does to make a film.”

Gravity and Captain Phillips took home the big feature awards tonight — for Best Sound Effects & Foley work and Best Dialogue/Adr, respectively — as the Motion Picture Sound Editors doled out annual awards recognizing achievement in sound editing. HBO’s Game of Thrones, AMC’s Breaking Bad, FX’s The Bridge and FX’s Sons of Anarchy took home honors on the TV side. Showtime series Homeland swept the 64th Primetime Emmy Awards netting popular awards for Damien Lewis (Best Actor), Claire Danes (Best Actress), and Outstanding Writing for a Drama Series and Best Drama Series.
The Primetime wins helped Homeland secure its place as the Emmy's surprise hit of 2012. Lewis beat out Emmy favourites Jon Hamm and Bryan Cranston, who himself won the award twice for his role as Walter White in AMC.s Breaking Bad.
