He is a self-taught filmmaker who shot his first film, Soundman, in 18
days.
As a sought-after martial arts instructor, Mr. Ho has worked with,
among others, Brad Pitt, James Franco, Giselle Bundchen, Tobey Maguire,
Method Man, Pink, Eric Balfour.
Steven was discovered by Jet Li and recruited into the film business in
1987 at a National Karate Championship in Irvine, where Steven won his
division.
Married to acclaimed designer, Nina Maree Petronzio. The couple owns
Plush Home, a successful interior design firm & furniture showroom on
Melrose Avenue in West Hollywood.
For his directorial debut with "Soundman", former members of Guns n'
Roses collaborated to score a portion of the film's soundtrack, as well
as play at the film's opening party at Slamdance in Park City, Utah.
Since then, the boys have formed "Velvet Revolvers" with Scott Weiland
as lead singer.
Ho was recruited to play the action/stunt turtle, "Donatello" in the
hit sequels to Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, after catching the eye of
choreographer, Pat Johnson, when he won his division at "The Battle of
Atlanta National Karate Championships."
Trained Britney Spears and fight choreographed "Hold it Against Me", directed by Jonas Akerlund.
