Screen publisher Media Business Insight (Mbi) has acquired three media database brands from business intelligence publisher Wilmington plc for an undisclosed sum.
A team of nine staff from The Knowledge, Production Intelligence and Kftv will transfer to Mbi’s London offices as part of the deal.
The Knowledge and Kftv are online directories covering UK film and TV production and international production in film, TV and commercials respectively.
Production Intelligence is a subscription product featuring information on more than 6,000 UK film and TV shows and the companies making them.
The three brands include listings on more than 35,000 companies and 90,000 individuals working in the global media industry.
The acquisition follows Mbi’s management buyout from Top Right Group six months ago in a deal backed by Mobeus Equity Partners.

Bob Henry, the man behind Nat 'King' Cole's cult 1950s variety show, has died at his home in California.
The TV producer/director, who also took charge of The Flip Wilson Show, passed away on Sunday, aged 92.
Henry was famous for bringing African-American stars to mainstream U.S. TV.
He also directed and produced variety shows for Andy Williams, Glen Campbell and The Carpenters.

A Tuesday statement from the Pageant of the Masters art festival where he was a director says Henry died Sunday at his home in Laguna Beach, Calif. He was 92.
Henry worked in television for more than five decades and was noted for bringing black performers like Cole and Wilson to a wider audience.
He produced, directed and wrote 1956's "Nat King Cole Show" for NBC, which several network affiliates refused to air because of its black star.
Henry would later direct and produce variety shows for Andy Williams, the Carpenters, Glen Campbell and Barbara Mandrell, and also helmed telecasts of the Emmy and Grammy awards.
