Tom Haynes is a television news anchor. From the anchor desk to live
reporting, Tom has covered a wide range of stories, including reporting
live from the oil-battered Gulf coast region, the September 11th
terrorist attacks, the U.S. led invasion in Iraq and the unprecedented
hurricane seasons that battered the Florida and Gulf Coast year after
year. Tom also reported from Panama prior to the handover of the Panama
Canal in 1999, profiled famed undersea explorer Sylvia Earle during a
deep water dive in the Dry Tortugas National Park and provided live
coverage from Boston on election night 2004.
Tom began his career in 1994 as a production assistant for CNN's Larry
King Live. He then moved to CNN's world headquarters, here in Atlanta,
where he worked as a producer, anchor and reporter.
He has appeared in "The Following" television series as a news anchor.
