Ullrich Haupt was born on October 10, 1915 in Chicago, Illinois, USA. He was an actor and director, known for Träumerei (1944), Kidnapped (1978) and Target (1985). He was married to Beatrice Norden. He died on November 23, 1991 in Munich, Bavaria, Germany.
His mother took him and his brother Hans back to Germany after the death of their father.
During World War II made a Nazi propaganda radio broadcast called "Vision of Invasion". He later testified that had he refused, his family would have been thrown into a concentration camp and he probably would have been shot.
