Originally from Meridian, Mississippi, Lara began her career in
advertising in San Francisco in 1988, which led to her working at the
SF Weekly in 1990. Prior to moving to Los Angeles in 1994 for several
years she co-published a successful monthly newspaper, Edge City/Anthem
Monthly in Humboldt California.
Lara has been in the entertainment industry in all capacities from
Production Assistant to Producer. She has worked for Warner Bros.,
Sony, Columbia Tristar, FOX, FX, Saban, Dick Clark, AMPAS, AFI,
Miramax, Showtime, HBO, MBST, among others while simultaneously doing
her own independent productions.
She is currently producing the feature film Hemp Revolution, a film
that will literally change the world. It is based on a true story and
reflects much of "The Emperor Wears No Clothes" by Jack Herer.
Recently she began production on a documentary on the subject of
Weather Modification focusing on the Santa Barbara Cloud Seeding
Project. This is being done under the Production shingle of
AlchemyHouse.com.
Currently Co-Writer/Producer, Hemp Revolution;
Co-Writer/Producer, Weather Modification Documentary while
simultaneaously freelancing for Fox and Paramount.

California.
