You can now add Ariana Grande to the list of artists who have been sued for song plagiarism as of late. Songwriter and producer Alex Greggs is hitting Grande and producer David Guetta with a lawsuit over their track “One Last Time,” claiming that it’s too similar to the song he wrote for Skye Stevens, “Takes All Night.”
According to TMZ, the court filings note that the biggest similarity between the two cuts is the chorus. “One Last Time,” a single coming off Grande’s 2014 record, My Everything, was a fairly successful hit. The song peaked at number thirteen on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, and reached as high six on the Mainstream Top 40.
