Two Florida fathers are doing their part to make sure no child ever dies in a hot car again. Fadi Shamma and Jim Friedman, who are neighbors in Tampa, created Sense-a-Life, a two-stage device that uses sensors to remind parents or caretakers to take a child out of a car. The pair have already applied for a patent for the device - that first uses a voice alert to remind drivers to remove a child from a car seat when the car door opens, then sends a back-up alert to a linked phone - and are seeking investors, telling Fox...

In this short clip (I.ll post my full interviews later including with Bella Thorne, Wendi McClendon-Covey, Kevin Nealon, and Jessica Lowe), Adam was talking about his Aunt Bobby who lives in my neighborhood in Palm Desert. Community star Joel McHale is going to join Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore in their upcoming new romantic comedy for Warner Bros.
The story follow a "recently divorced mother of two boys, Lauren Reynolds, and widowed father of three girls, Jim Friedman, [who] have a disastrous blind date that puts them off dating for the foreseeable future. However, when the two purchase a discount 'Familymoon' vacation from Lauren’s best friend and business partner, Jen, they wind up at an African resort with their kids in tow. Initially acrimonious, their relationship skews, gradually and irresistibly, towards romance."
McHale will play Barrymore’s ex-husband in the film, which is being directed by Frank Coraci from an original script by Ivan Menchell and Clare Sera. Hopefully the movie turns out good. I like McHale, I think he'll make the film that much more enjoyable.

There is this stigma that if you want a rom-com to work, you must cast Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan for it to be a success (Joe Versus the Volcano is by far my favorite, but that is just me). There is no denying the chemistry of the Hanks-Ryan connection, but I feel that there is a comparable duo out there: Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore! If you feel the way that I do, then you are in luck. As it turns out the 50 First Dates and Wedding Singer co-stars are going to be teaming back up for a new film called Blended.
I haven’t heard too much about this film until today. Thanks to moviehole, we now have a detailed synopsis of the film.:

Lately, when we hear the words “new Adam Sandler movie,” they ultimately prove to be followed by some horrifying, bottom barrel plotline that makes us regret ever considering ourselves a fan of the funny man (sorry, Sandler, I still remember That’s My Boy), but for all the Just Go With Its and Grown Ups (and its upcoming sequel), Sandler can still charm the hell out of an audience with stuff like Fifty First Dates and The Wedding Singer. The continuing thread between such fare? Co-star Drew Barrymore. So, it is with some excitement that we reveal news about a new Sandler/Barrymore pairing that actually sounds charming, romantic, and – get this - mature. Moviehole passes along a ton of information about the film (via /Film), including that it will reunite the pair with Wedding Singer director Frank Coraci, that it features a script by Ivan Menchell and Claire Sera, with...
