George's father (George Snr.) was a member of a music hall troupe which included a young Charlie Chaplin and it was George's father's insistence that Charlie should try his luck in the USA.

Appears on the back cover of Alice in Chains' 1995 self-titled album (also known as "Tripod") with a computer edited third leg.
