Stephanie grew up in Los Angeles and studied acting with her parents,
legendary teachers
Peggy Feury and
William Traylor at their school
and theatre, The Loft Studio. While there, she studied with some of
Hollywood's most notable actors such as
Meg Ryan,
Sean Penn,
Nicolas Cage,
Eric Stoltz and many more.
In the 80s, Stephanie went to New York where she studied at the Tisch
School of the Arts and received a BFA in theatre. Her studies continued
with legendary teacher
Elaine Aiken as she
began her extensive theatre career.
In the 90s, she returned to Los Angeles and starred as "Roberta" in
John Patrick Shanley's, "Danny and
the Deep Blue Sea", for which she received a Critic's Choice Award for
her performance. Her acting career continued with film and television
projects.
In 1995, following in her parents' footsteps, she began teaching. In
December of 2002, she opened The Stephanie Feury Studio Theatre where
she teaches while continuing to pursue her acting career.
In June 2004, The Stephanie Feury Studio Theatre debuted its first
theatre production which opened to sold out performances.
