Mumbai, Jan 4 (Ians) Veteran star Zeenat Aman went down memory lane and recalled how she joined the cast of ‘Qurbani’, which released in 1980.
Taking a trip down memory lane, Zeenat shared a still from the film, directed by and starring Feroz Khan.
It also stars Vinod Khanna, Amjad Khan, Shakti Kapoor, Aruna Irani, Amrish Puri and Kader Khan.
The film was famous for its music, especially the Bollywood disco song ‘Aap Jaisa Koi’ sung by Pakistani popstar Nazia Hassan and ‘Laila O Laila’.
Alongside the still where she described Feroz as “charismatic”, Zeenat wrote: “I read somewhere that Oxford’s word for the year 2023 is “rizz” – short for ‘charisma’. Well, if l’ve ever known anybody to have rizz, it was Feroz Khan.”
The actress then revealed that her start with the late actor was not easy.
“Feroz and I had a rocky start. It was the 70s, my star was on the rise,...

Welcome to this week’s review of Nxt, right here on Nerdly. Let’s get straight into it and see what went down in this episode…
Match #1: Lyra Valkyria def. Jacy Jayne The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Lyra Valkyria was able to prove WWE Women’s World Champion right as she got her groove back and defeated Jacy Jayne in a bitter grudge match. Before the bell could even ring, Jayne pounced on Valkyria and tossed her through her entrance smoke and brutalized her before the referee could step in. Jayne looked poised to once again walk out with the win, but Valkyria dug deep and channeled the fighting spirit of her Irish ancestors, put Jayne flat on her back, and hit a perfect diving splash to earn the victory.
My Score: 3 out of 5 Match #2: Dijak def. Eddy Thorpe The following is courtesy of wwe.com:...

Match #1: Nathan Frazer, Dragon Lee, Yulisa Leon and Valentina Feroz def. Meta Four The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Nxt Heritage Cup Champion Nathan Frazer, Dragon Lee, Yulisa Leon and Valentina Feroz took out all of The Meta-Four on the Kickoff Show of Nxt Great American Bash in an incredible Eight-Person Tag Team Match. The dastardly Meta-Four pulled out all the sneaky stops trying to gain an advantage, but the high-flying quarter of Frazer, Lee, Leon and Feroz wasn’t ready to go down quietly, as they answered Meta-Four’s antics with perfect teamwork. With Noam Dar, Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson all neutralized, Oro Mensah was left all alone with Lee, and the electrifying Luchador hit a picture-perfect...

Match #1: North American Championship – Wes Lee def. Tyler Bate The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
The Nxt North American Championship is staying with Wes Lee, but not after some shenanigans involving special guest referee Mustafa Ali. Lee and Bate squared off in the spirit of competition as both Superstars have been allies to one another in recent months, but it began to turn when neither of them could trust the actions of Ali who began conducting both quick and slow counts. Bate came close on several occasions to winning the title, but Lee’s championship mettle was too great as a well-timed and well-placed Kardiak Kick ended the contest and allowed the champion to retain.
My Score: 3 out of 5 Match #2: Malik Blade & Edris Enofé def.

Spain’s Festival de Málaga, through its industry arm Mafiz (Málaga Festival Industry Zone), heads to the Cannes Marché du Film with five works-in-progress from burgeoning Andalusian talent.
“The Malaga Festival wants to support the completion of these works and make their international distribution viable,” commented Malaga head of industry, Annabelle Aramburu.
This year, as Cannes more broadly celebrates Spain, the event curates two titles that tackle its tumultuous history and one which takes audiences on an unconventional road trip questioning the biological clock alongside narratives that dissect the minutiae of new forms of co-existing and the baffling concept of destiny.
The second edition of Málaga Goes to Cannes takes place on Monday May 22.

Match #1: Battle Royal – Winner: Axoim The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
The coveted fifth and final spot in the North American Championship Fatal 5-Way was decided in a Battle Royal and when the dust settled, Axiom became the last Superstar standing. The field featured some of Nxt’s greatest Superstars, including the likes of Axiom, Dijak, Jinder Mahal, Apollo Crews, and Dabba-Kato. After Crews and Mahal were eliminated, Axiom, Nathan Frazer, and Charlie Dempsey teamed up to eliminate the gargantuan Dabba-Kato, leaving them as the final three competitors. Axiom managed to outsmart Dempsey and eliminate him, leaving the masked Superstar and Frazer as the final two. The two high-flyers proceeded to move about the ring in impressive fashion,...

Neeraj Pandey’s forthcoming film Baby which is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar (T-Series) along with Shital Bhatia, Cape of Good Films & Crouching Tiger brings back the powerful trio together of Director Neeraj himself, Akshay Kumar & Anupam Kher (who gave us Special 26), and joining them as an intriguing ensemble cast are actors Rana Daggubati & Danny Denzongpa.
Those wondering as to the memorably curious movie title of Baby, there is a significant reason why this title has been attached to the film, but currently the makers want to keep it a close guarded secret and let it come out at the right time!!
While the trio’s last flick was high on suspense, Baby will showcase high octane and adrenaline pumping speed action sequences!
We present to you the first look of all the actors from the film together.
Akshay Kumar will be seen portraying the character of Ajay...

It's two down for Ajay Devgn and Priyadarshan. The superstar currently riding the highest waves of success had his success streak broken twice by Priyadarshan. First with Aakrosh and now Tezz. And Priyan is deeply mortified about letting down Devgn.
Thanks to the horrific experience that Priyadarshan has suffered in getting his latest film through post-production, the prolific director has decided to change his working policy.
"From now, I'll put it in all my contracts that I won't show a single frame of my film to my producer until the film is completed, edited and full post-production is done," declares Priyan, wondering what hit him.
Hurting under the impact of the failure of Tezz, Priyan says, "The producers took over the film from me after I shot it. It was edited by them. And the results were there for everyone to see. So many people including critics have told me...

Has Emraan Hashmi joined the 'powerful' cast of Rajkumar Santoshi's Power which is fast turning out to be the most star studded affairs of 2011? Well, that's the gossip going around in the industry circles ever since Power first came in news close to a fortnight ago. Says an industry insider, "Yes, there have been talks of Emraan making an appearance in the film. Though the actor doesn't do too many multi starrers, he did give the film a close hearing when he was approached for it. Rajkumar Santoshi is a huge name and his ensemble starrers can prove to be a huge draw. Also, Emraan too has opened up more after the smash success of Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai which was a two hero project. He too feels that it isn't bad after all to bring in that occasional multi starrer in his profile." Well, if Power stars Emraan,...

Two of our busiest stars Sanjay Dutt and Ajay Devgn have agreed to be part of a hurriedly-designed mega-project, only because Amitabh Bachchan plays the lead. Raj Kumar Santoshi's The Outsider with Amitabh Bachchan has been temporarily postponed for the lack of proper permission to shoot in the Us where it was situated. Rather than allow the Big B's dates to go to waste, Raj Santoshi has moved to another crime thriller for the same producer Feroze Nadiadwala. This crime thriller will also feature Ajay Devgn and Sanjay Dutt in stellar roles and would be shot both in India and abroad. Devgn and Dutt both extremely busy stars in their own right agreed to be part of the project at such short notice because of the Big B's presence. Devgn and Dutt gave the project a nod without even hearing the script when they were told it was the...
