Dew Drop Diaries Season 2 is all set to be released on Netflix in a few days and here are the details you need to know the details.
We know for a fact that Dreamworks has rarely disappointed and Dew Drop Diaries is certainly no exception! Created by animation veterans such as Rick Suvalle (‘Thomas and Friends: All Engines Go’) and Aliki Theofilopoulos (Descendants: Wicked World and Phineas and Ferb), we can expect nothing but the best from such legends.
The series is inspired and is a run for Rick’s daughters. The animated show centers around a group of fairies and thanks to their teensy-weensy height of a mere 3 inches tall, are infamously called ‘Dew Drops’. How adorable is that?

Both Disney+ and Hulu will “pull an HBO Max” on Friday, May 26, and (not-so-)quietly remove dozens of shows from their respecting streaming libraries.

Update, July 4: Another victim of Disney’s cost-cutting on the streaming front has emerged: “Crater,” a sci-fi adventure film about a group of children that hijack a rover before a member of the group relocates to a new planet. The film, starring Mckenna Grace and Isaiah Russell-Bailey with a featured role played by Kid Cudi, drew mostly positive reviews around its debut on the streaming service on May 12. Roughly seven weeks later, “Crater” has been pulled from Disney+.
The original report follows.
Disney’s content culling from Disney+ and Hulu is coming as early as next week — with the media company pulling off more than 50 titles, including series “Willow,” “The Mysterious Benedict Society” and “Dollface,” and movies such as “The One and Only Ivan.”

When it comes to iconic Disney animated characters, Goofy comes up a few notches below Donald Duck and Mickey Mouse. Those two saw massive popularity early on in the company's lifespan, and even got to lead theatrical movies like 1944's "The Three Caballeros" with Donald, or Mickey starring in the "Sorcerer's Apprentice" episode of the 1940 film "Fantasia." Goofy's appeal was different, less wide-ranging, and more eccentric than a perpetually exasperated duck or a blandly kind mouse. You couldn't even tell what species he was, although his longtime voice actor Bill Farmer claims he is a dog.
Goofy eventually did get to lead a theatrical film, although several decades after his 1932 debut. The character was best known for Disney shorts those days, and for his cartoony antics in them. As you could guess from his name, he was careless and clumsy, and his oblivious goofball shtick would often result in wildly elaborate slapstick.

Disney has a long and illustrious history, spanning 99 years and inspiring people all over the globe with its classic tales, innovative animation, and catchy tunes. Since Walt Disney, talented animators have been creating moving and thought-provoking stories for audiences of all ages, from the big screen to the living room TV.
Unfortunately, the studio abandoned some of these excellent concepts after they were just sketched. Fraidy Cat, a lost Disney Hitchcock-style mystery, was deemed too niche for kids.
What was the inspiration and the plot for ‘Fraidy Cat’?

If you're like me, you firmly believe that "A Goofy Movie" is one of the best (read: the best) Disney movies ever made. Set over the course of one crazy summer, "A Goofy Movie" tells the story of Max Goof (son of Goofy Goof and voiced by Jason Marsden) who, in an attempt to get the attention of his crush Roxanne (voiced by Jenna von Oÿ), stages one of the most impressive stunts ever. During an end-of-year school-wide assembly, Max wows Roxanne by performing a full-on dance number to his favorite band Powerline's song, "Stand Out," and the two make plans to meet up later. But when Goofy (voiced by Bill Farmer) gets wind of Max's poor (read: swoon-worthy) behavior, he thinks a father-son fishing trip is just what Max needs to set him straight.
Obviously, Max is not happy about this, and what follows is an insane road...

Disney fans young and old love a great adventure with Mickey Mouse and the gang. Over the years, Mickey and pals have headlined a variety of shows, each taking viewers on fun and fantastical adventures. The gang’s latest television hit is the Disney Junior animated series, “Mickey Mouse Funhouse.”
Mickey and the gang find the magic funhouse, Funny, in the woods. When Funny calls to them, they each hop in a car to race to their old clubhouse from “Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.” From there the gang attaches their cars together to create the “Floaty Coaster” to fly to the funhouse. Funny then lets the gang choose between three themed doors for their adventure. The gang is then transported to a new destination and ready to solve any problem they might face. They come across friends, old and new, and Funny comes along too, morphing into different shapes to fit in.

From January 1989 until March 1996, Neil Gaiman's pivotal goth text "The Sandman" flooded the hearts of Doc Martens-wearing, clove cigarette-smoking, Fields of the Nephilim-listening teens the world over. The comic followed the downbeat, bitter adventures of Dream, a supernatural personification of human dreams, as he escaped a prolonged prison sentence in a fantasy kingdom, and set out traversing multiple dimensions to build up his power again. Dream frequently ran into other personified human concepts like Death, Destiny, Despair, and Delirium, and existed in a vast, complicated mythology world that your "Rocky Horror Picture Show"-attending buddies probably knew better than you.
Because of its cult popularity, scuttlebutt about a "Sandman" feature film began to spread sometime in the mid-1990s. Recalling the time, the buzz seemingly became loudest following the release of Alex Proyas' ultra-Goth comic book adaptation "The Crow," a film that appeared to be visually and tonally in...

When Neil Gaiman's "Sandman," one of the most stirring and enveloping sagas I've ever experienced in any medium, at long last found safe harbor at Netflix, I was relieved. Even if the live-action adaptation of arguably the greatest comic book series ever written fell short of my fevered imagination, it would at least be realized on the author's terms. And this was important to me not only because I adore the work, but because I know how very, very wrong it could've gone had Warner Bros. moved forward with William Farmer's rewrite of Ted Elliott and Terry Rossio's screenplay adaptation in 1998.
Everything I just said about "Sandman" as a comic book? The extreme opposite goes for Farmer's script. We've seen great works of fiction travestied by misguided screenplays: Brian De Palma's "The Bonfire of the Vanities" is a miscast gutter-ball that veers from satire to caricature...

This weekend, the second-to-last episode of “Amphibia” airs on the Disney Channel.
The series, created by Matt Braly (a veteran of classic Disney series “Gravity Falls” and “Big City Greens”) was disarming in its simplicity, at least initially. When the show started out, it was about a young Thai-American girl named Ann Boonchuy (Brenda Song), who is mysteriously transported to Amphibia, a world populated with andromorphic frog creatures, and falls in with the Planter family – Hop Pop (Bill Farmer), young Sprig (Justin Felbinger) and even-younger tadpole Polly (Amanda Leighton).
But what starts out as a fish-out-of-water comedy soon became much, much more epic. Ancient feuds were revealed, more human characters entered the upside-down frog world and in the third season, the Planters were transported to our world, which led to more fish (frog?) out-of-water stuff but here. It’s been a wild ride. And now, after three seasons and 56 episodes and various shorts,...

With more and more states seeing an uptick in coronavirus infections, a second wave of quarantine and social distancing seems to be more likely than ever before. Heck, in some areas of the country, it’s already taking place. Add to that sweltering summer heat waves, and staying indoors with your favorite streaming services doesn’t seem so bad anymore – if it ever did.
Especially when considering there are now more streaming services available than there ever have been in the past. A few years ago, people debated on whether you should subscribe to Netflix or Amazon Prime, for the most part. Now, they’re joined by a wealth of other competitors. Some, like Disney+ and HBO Max, haven proven to be admirable opponents. Others, like CBS All Access and Peacock, not so much.

The movies and shows releasing on streaming platforms lately have been top-tier. Netflix has been getting huge hits like E.T. the Extraterrestrial and The Silence of the Lambs, Hulu scored wonderful titles like A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood and I Am Legend, and Disney Plus has been building and completing its Marvel movie collection. There’s certainly plenty of enrapturing content to watch regardless of what streaming service you regularly use, but Disney’s platform in particular is shaping up to have an exceptional July.
Disney Plus will see 90s classics like The Mighty Ducks and The Big Green arrive on July 3rd, and then subscribers will also be treated to Solo: A Star Wars Story a week later on July 10th. Despite only launching in November, Disney Plus has already brought in nearly 55 million subscribers, who’ve been enjoying all of their content hailing from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the Star Wars franchise, Pixar, almost their entire back catalogue of animated films and much, much more.
However, it’s fair to say that when it comes to original material, Disney Plus hasn’t been bringing us very much. Sure, The Mandalorian was a major hit, but apart from that, none of their in-house projects have really stirred up any buzz. Unless, of course, you want to count Artemis Fowl, which has been making waves for all the wrong reasons.
Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like things will be improving on that front anytime soon, either. The Mouse House has just announced what’s headed our way in July and as you can see below, the list is lacking when it comes to buzzy original titles.

It’s time to check out what Disney+ UK has planned for June! Last month, the streaming service added Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker as its centrepiece, and this month will see the arrival of a first-look premiere in Kenneth Branagh’s new family film Artemis Fowl, which has skipped its cinema release and landed on Disney+. The big budget movie is based on the bestselling book by Eoin Colfer, and follows 12-year-old genius Artemis Fowl as he sets out to find his missing dad. The project boasts a stellar cast that includes Ferdia Show, Colin Farrell, Josh Gad and Judi Dench. We’ll at least get a quick chance to guess for ourselves if it would have been a box office hit for the mouse house or not.

Since its launch late last year, Disney streaming service Disney+ has mostly been a place for the enormous entertainment conglomerate to house all of its library content. Big hits like The Mandalorian have been few and far between. Perhaps that changes this month as Disney+ welcomes arguably its biggest original movie yet.
Obviously, Artemis Fowl was never intended to be a Disney+ exclusive. The live-action adaptation of Eoin Colfer’s beloved Ya novel was initially set for a theatrical release. Then Covid-19 reared its ugly head and sent everyone indoors. Now Artemis Fowl is set to be a fascinating test case for how original movies can fare on Disney’s streamer.
Elsewhere throughout the month is the usual Disney+ fare. Disney Gallery: The Mandalorian premieres three of its episodes this month, including the finale on June 19. Be Our Chef also wraps up this month while It’s a Dog’s Life continues on strong.
