Updated with NFL response: The NFL says the allegations of racial discrimination detailed by former Miami Dolphins head coach Brian Flores are “without merit.” In its full statement, the league said: “The NFL and our clubs are deeply committed to ensuring equitable employment practices and continue to make progress in providing equitable opportunities throughout our organizations. Diversity is core to everything we do, and there are few issues on which our clubs and our internal leadership team spend more time. We will defend against these claims, which are without merit.”
Previously: Brian Flores, the former coach of the Miami Dolphins who was fired last month, has filed a racial discrimination lawsuit against the NFL and three of its teams, dropping a bombshell in the run-up to the Super Bowl.
The complaint (read it Here) is a proposed class-action case naming the league, the Dolphins, the New York Giants and the Denver Broncos as defendants.

Super Bowl Lv drew 96.4 million total multiplatform viewers on Sunday, when 2021’s big game aired on CBS. That all-in tally was the lowest since 2007. It includes a ton of platforms: the CBS Television Network (which brought in 91.629 million of those viewers), CBS Sports and NFL digital properties, Buccaneers and Chiefs mobile properties, Verizon Media mobile properties and ESPN Deportes television and digital properties.
Despite the marquee quarterback matchup, Super Bowl Lv was a pretty boring game. It was mostly noncompetitive, and the Kansas City Chiefs played sloppily. Tom Brady, who was named the game’s Mvp, threw for just 201 yards in the winning effort. He had three touchdown passes (two to former New England Patriots teammate Rob Gronkowski) to zero interceptions. That was more than enough for the comfortable 31-9 victory.

With just one episode of “The Masked Singer” left to go, now is a good time to look back at how well (or not) the four judges — Ken Jeong, Jenny McCarthy, Nicole Scherzinger and Robin Thicke — have done to date at guessing the real identities of the celebrity contestants. Have you done better than them at figuring out which famous faces were hidden behind those elaborate masks?
The best guesser among the judges is Robin, who has correctly guessed four of the nine celebrities. He is followed closely by Nicole, who has gone three for nine. The worst guessers are Jenny and Ken, who have each managed to make just one correct guess so far. Not surprisingly, those two have embarrassed themselves with their inability to figure out who is behind the mask.

Just when you thought the four judges on “The Masked Singer” couldn’t say anything dumber, Jenny McCarthy opened her mouth on the quarter-final on February 13. She thought that the Rabbit was her husband Donnie Wahlberg. Sure, Jenny – Donnie kept it secret from you that he was flying back and forth from the “Blue Bloods” location in New York to appear on this show in Los Angeles.
Over the first six episodes, Jenny had made some pretty wild guesses. But this one was the “winner” in our eyes. Her three fellow panelists –actor Ken Jeong, singer Nicole Scherzinger and singer/songwriter Robin Thicke — have been equally obtuse at times. Ken couldn’t figure out that his one-time co-star Margaret Cho was hidden inside the Poodle costume. Robin insisted that boxer Sugar Ray Leonard just had to be someone, anyone, on the show. Admit it. One of the main reasons you watch “The Masked Singer” is to feel smarter than the panel. The four judges — Ken Jeong, Jenny McCarthy, Nicole Scherzinger and Robin Thicke — sure say some pretty bone-headed things when they are trying to guess the names of the famous faces hidden behind those elaborate masks.
Two of them – Jenny and Robin — took to the stage at the Television Critics Association winter tour to defend themselves. Jenny got in the first jab. “We weren’t sitting there able to Google.” But what about between shows? Robin insists, “I never Googled.” And his wild speculation certainly confirms that as he thought the likes of the hugely successful Judge Judy would compete on “The Masked Singer.”
Why was Robin willing to look so dumb to viewers, who are convinced they are as right as he is wrong. “I really wanted it to be pure.

Fox’s oddball, already-smash-hit celebrity singing game show “The Masked Singer” returned Wednesday, revealing at the end of its third episode that the identity of one of its famous contestants — who performed Florida Georgia Line’s “Get Your Shine On” disguised from head to toe in an elaborate Deer costume — was none other than football legend Terry Bradshaw.
This episode saw the return of Lion, Deer, Peacock, Unicorn and Monster. Each performed solo in succession this week, rather than in sing-offs, which was the format showrunner Izzie Pick Ibarra told TheWrap the show would be following from here on out.
Next, it was time for panelists Jenny McCarthy, Nicole Scherzinger, Ken Jeong and Robin Thicke and guest panelist Joel McHale, along with the studio audience, to choose which member of the group was the “weakest performer,” who would then be eliminated and unmasked. And that ended up being poor Deer.

Matt Prater, the record-breaking NFL kicker, has been released by the Denver Broncos.
Matt Prater Released
The Broncos have decided to cut ties with Prater just as his four-game suspension for violating the NFL’s drug policy is about to end. The Denver franchise announced the decision in a statement released Friday.
"Parting ways with Matt Prater—the longest-tenured player on our roster—was a very difficult football decision," Broncos General Manager John Elway said. "On behalf of our entire organization, I want to thank Matt for his seven seasons with the Broncos and wish him well going forward."
Broncos coach John Fox weighed in on the decision after practice Friday. "Any time you make football decisions in an organization, especially [someone] that's been with you for a period of time like Matt, it's always difficult,'' he told Espn. “It's always a football decision, what's going to give us the best chance in our opinion.
