Kumari Srimathi is an interesting take on dysfunctional family dynamics, and what they do to people. At many junctures, the lead characters feel claustrophobic around family, and the show captures all this, along with a woman’s need to be financially independent, in a convincing manner. This article will help you understand the challenges a woman must face before she can peacefully run a business.

Inspired by Varun Agarwal’s novel, Abhishek Sinha’s latest movie, Tumse Na Ho Payega, promised to be a deep dive into the story of how a middle-class boy risked it all to make a company whose success would inspire thousands of other entrepreneurs. The film doesn’t quite do justice to that particular idea, but it has its own humorous approach to the whole thing. The main idea seemed to be that of defining success in an age where society pressures everyone to conform and sacrifice one’s individuality. The film features the friendship and banter that become part and parcel of the journey towards success. The story revolves around Gaurav Shukla, who leaves his job and starts a tiffin service only to find that he has little to no support from his family, while Anu Aunty, his neighbor, makes his mother insecure regarding his future.

Dhaka, July 19 (Ians) Jemimah Rodrigues dished out a memorable all-round performance — a quick 86 with the bat and four wickets (4/3) with the ball — to help India level three-game Odi series 1-1 with a 108-run win against Bangladesh in the second match at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium, here on Wednesday.
Jemimah’s superb efforts meant that the third Odi set to be played on Saturday will now be the series decider.
Put into bat first, Jemimah made a career-best 86 off 78 balls while sharing a crucial 73-run stand with captain Harmanpreet Kaur (52) to take India to 228 for eight.
In reply, she took four wickets with her part-time off-spin, giving away only three runs, to play a major role in bowling out Bangladesh for 120 in 35.1 overs. She was also supported by leg-spin all-rounder Devika Vaidya taking three for 30 as Bangladesh lost their last seven wickets for 14 runs within 38 balls.

Dhaka, July 16 (Ians) Fine performances from fast-bowler Marufa Akter and leg-spinner Rabeya Khan helped Bangladesh clinch their first-ever Odi victory over India with a 40-run win in the first Odi at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium on Sunday.
Electing to bowl first, debutant Amanjot took four wickets as India restricted Bangladesh to 152 in 43 overs, with the game being reduced to 44 overs a side due to a two-hour rain interruption.
In a chase of 154 according to the Dls method, Marufa struck twice at the start and middle overs respectively to pick 4-29 while Rabeya took 3-30 to bowl out India for just 113 in 35.3 overs.
For India, who suffered their first loss of the Icc Women’s Championship cycle, they were hit hard by another disappointing showing from the batters on a slow and turning pitch. Smriti Mandhana began with two pulled fours through midwicket off Marufa. But the pacer bounced back...

Dhaka, July 13 (Ians) Spinners shined bright to restrict India to a below-par 102/9, before Shamima Sultana top-scored with 42 to give Bangladesh a consolation four-wicket victory in the third and final T20I at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium, here on Thursday.
Though the series ended 2-1 in India’s favour, Bangladesh finally managed to get a win over the visitors for just the third time in women’s T20Is.
Chasing 103, opener Shamima was steering Bangladesh’s chase on yet another slow pitch with a 46-ball 42. Though a collapse took place in the middle overs, Sultana Khatun’s 12, along with Nahida Akter’s 10 not out and Ritu Moni’s unbeaten seven runs meant Bangladesh got over the line with ten balls to spare, thus avoiding a series clean sweep at home.

“Jubilee” can be described as a tale of people who struggle, work hard, and find fruitful results in their work. A lot of them see success, but many of them also end up finding failures. Failures from which they learn to pick up their lives and rebuild them just to be able to move forwards This Vikramaditya Motwane and Soumik Sen show is set in a time when women hardly had the power vested in them to be able to make any crucial life decisions. Women were forced into prostitution or work in a field against their will and constantly kept under the influence of men who were the decision-makers of their lives.
But Vikramaditya and Soumik took a different path in this show and decided to showcase female characters who had it in them to stand up to the predominantly male industry and show their power as decision-making personnel...

Jubilee
Lights, sound, camera… action! And here we go. At last, a series that encapsulates the genesis of Hindi cinema…the good, bad, and the ogling.
The fun part of Vikramaditya Motwane’s see-real is to spot who’s who and … my God, is this true??!!! Motwane’s writer Atul Sabharwal uses historical facts to create a kind of free-flowing fusion of fact and fantasy that is at once arresting and liberating.
From the silent era in the 1940s to the not-so-silent era when the Partition of 1947 tore the nation into two, Jubilee begins its comprehensive exhilarating journey by introducing us to the brooding maverick producer Srikant Roy, most meticulously modeled on the legendary Himanshu Rai. As played by Prosenjit Chatterjee, Roy is wily and mysterious, ambitious and nasty…It’s a brutal role played with tremendous understanding.
In comparison Aditya Roy Hydari as Roy’s wife Sumitra Devi (modeled...
