- John Cutts was born on June 1, 1929 in Jaipur, State of Jaipur, British India. He was a writer and producer, known for Land of the Lost (1974), Goin' Coconuts (1978) and The Last American Hero (1973). He died on May 19, 2004 in Portland, Oregon, USA.
- British film critic (mostly for "Films And Filming" magazine) who went to America in the second half of the 1960s and, after working uncredited on several films as a location scout, eventually became a producer, mostly for television.
