After a one-week break, "Cougar Town" returns Wednesday (Dec. 9) with guest star Scott Foley in tow. Playing a potential love interest for Jules (Courteney Cox), Foley's character will have a bit of competition from some rich client of hers. But he has no idea how complicated the Jules situation is with the added headache of both Grayson (Josh Hopkins) and Bobby (Brian Van Holt)...
Sure, Grayson is just Jules' neighbor across the street and Bobby is her ex-husband, but as Brian Van Holt told Korbi TV when we sat down for a few drinks together, there are still feelings there and they will be explored.
In fact, those feelings will get even more complicated when Ms. Lisa Kudrow, of "Friends" fame, comes aboard to play Bobby's new lady. Van Holt describes Kudrow's character as a "bitch on wheels," but I guess Bobby's way into that.

While common-folk around the world are pulling their hair out trying to figure out how to program their DVRs, fans of Supernatural know that at 9Pm on Thursday nights is time for the Winchester brothers to kick some supernatural butt. Given that tonight’s episode is the last episode of 2009, I figured it’s only appropriate to write something up.
Since the premiere of the fifth season, we’ve seen Lucifer rise from hell, Bobby become confined to a wheelchair, the brothers Winchester become television stars, 80-yr-old Dean Winchester kick some warlock butt and we finally find out what happens at all those Supernatural conventions. I’d say that’s pretty good for a couple of month’s work.
Still, the fight isn’t over; Lucifer is still on the loose and now that we found out that the Trickster is really the archangel Gabriel, the Winchester brothers are in it neck deep. »

You guys watching “The League” on FX? The half hour comedy following “It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia” on Thursdays? The one about a bunch of friends and their fantasy football league?
If not, you should definitely start.
Following five really funny dudes, a few of their wives and a coveted trophy that is kept by the winner of their fantasy league each year, football is merely the backdrop of the drama (and the funny) on this series.
So if you’re into the game, you’ll appreciate the few solid references they drop throughout an episode. But if you’re not, you can still get into what’s going on. Because at the end of the day, it’s really the human drama that runs the show. Just like “Friday Night Lights”… the only difference is that you probably won’t hear any “finger up the b-tt” jokes on “Fnl” anytime soon, »

A few of my thoughts on the "Supernatural" fan convention that took place Nov. 13-15 in the Chicago area are below; those are followed by Q&As with "Supernatural" actors Misha Collins (Castiel) and Jim Beaver (Bobby), both of whom I interviewed between their appearances at the convention. Neither interview contains spoilers; we talked in general terms about what has transpired thus far in Season 5, how it compares to Season 4 and I also spoke to Misha a bit about his approach to conventions and to his Twitter feed. Stuff happens, when you're either sleeping or or living the fabulous and fashionable life we know you have. So we're starting your days with a few tidbits to keep you the sparkling conversationalist your friends expect you to be.
According to TheTorchOnline.com, that kid who runs around naked onstage wasn't the hero of the Harry Potter books, it was actually the old dead gay dude. While it's an impressive argument, I think he should fear for his life, because child fans are a vicious bunch.
Jensen Ackles of Supernatural fame is engaged. To a red head. It's a woman. sniff - hold on, I can finish this post, I'm Ok. It's just I always felt he, Misha Collins, me, and a hot tub were destined to ride out the rapture in a hot tub in Key West.

Misha Collins plays the angel Castiel on the hit show Supernatural. And Castiel isn't your run of the mill, harps and flowing robes sort of angel. Supernatural's higher beings kick some serious butt. Castiel has dragged Dean (Jensen Ackles) out of hell, has no problem killing innocents for the greater good and according to Collins, has a pretty good tolerance for booze. I got to chat with Collins about what's coming up in the next few episodes, whether Castiel is still a virgin and his many minions on Twitter. Ok, I have to jump right into the upcoming episode “Changing Channels,” because I hear we are in fantasy TV land.Yes!So what can you tell me about the episode? You know what? It looked like the most fun episode that I've seen from a director's or cinematographer's standpoint. The show is jumping back »

Ooohhhh, a (new) Lost star will be making an appearance on Supernatural. But it will be a reversal of roles for him.
We've posted a sneak peek and a promo for the November 5 episode of Supernatural ("Changing Channels") and photos for the November 12th episode ("The Real Ghostbusters") and now theCW has graciously supplied us with a synopsis and many promo photos for the November 19th episode ("Abandon All Hope").

On the November 5 episode of Supernatural, the brothers get sucked into a television show and are forced to play along in order to escape. TheCW has released a short sneak peek for the new episode, along with a promo. You can also view some promo photos that we posted a few days ago.
Sam And Dean Get Stuck In TV Hell
The Trickster (guest star Richard Speight Jr.) throws Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) into an alternate universe where they are characters in different television series, including a sexy medical show, a Japanese game show, a forensics show and a sitcom.
The brothers realize the only way to get out of this world is to play along and become the characters in the shows. However, Castiel (Misha Collins) appears and warns them this universe is dangerous and they must get out before they become trapped.

It looks like a trip to the twilight zone for the Winchester brothers in the November 5 episode of Supernatural. While this week's episode has Dean aging rapidly (see a sneak peek and promo photos), next week's episode features the boys pining people to walls. I don't know why. TheCW has released promo photos and a synopsis for the episode.

The action is about to heat up on Supernatural... literally!
On the November 19 episode of The CW drama, Castiel will go to Hell.
“I’m on a very important recon mission in Missouri when Lucifer captures and integrates me by trapping me in a burning ring of fire using holy oil,” star Misha Collins told TV Guide Magazine. “It’s our first head-to-head.”
You can take off that trench coat below, Castiel. We doubt you're gonna need it.

Q: Dear Omniscient Primate: What do you think of the strongly implied love between Dean Winchester and Castiel on Supernatural? Everyone is talking about “Wincest,” but it seems that the potential and actual romance between a man and an angel doesn’t get enough focus. Do you see any chances of an on-screen kiss between the two? -- Marc

A: As much as it saddens me to say this, I think you’re practicing wishful thinking, probably because Jensen Ackles and Misha Collins are two of the three hottest actors currently on TV (the third one being Jared Padalecki!).
That said, the actors definitely have a terrific chemistry together, probably because – and again, »

We've been a bit neglectful so far this fall season with our television coverage, particularly when it comes to analyses of episodes week to week. So we're going to do our darnedest to correct that oversight, starting right here, right now, with a look back at last week.
After careful consideration, we began to realize that detailed reviews of every episode of every major series, every week, was just too unwieldy—we haven't the manpower, and we doubt you have the patience to sift through long deliberations about the lives of your favorite characters on your favorite shows. We'll still do more detailed reviews every once in a while, but expect analyses of partial seasons more often than individual episodes.
So what's the alternative? Mini recaps/reviews. Think of them as Bk Burger Shots for your pop culture soul.
Ok, that's a wee bit disgusting. Think of them as "reviews you can use, »

Supernatural has settled back into its usual greatness, and the next couple of weeks look even more exciting. Here are a few peeks at what lay ahead for Supernatural fans, including a big time reveal for the October 29th episode “Changing Channels.”
First, for those who missed it before, here is another gander at that awesome multi-episode promo that the Supernatural producers put together. Some of it is out-dated as of this week, but the next few episodes are covered as well.
In case you didn’t figure it out, the channel changing funniness involves Sam and Dean visiting various other television shows. So far we know the boys will visit a mock up of a Japanese game how, Grey’s Anatomy, Knight Rider, and a few others. Most Supernatural fans guessed what was going on right away, and these pictures confirm it: this is a Trickster episode. Rejoice

Those who have been a fan of Warner Bros’ Supernatural know that the show has only gotten better in it’s four and a half seasons. The show struggled on the WB for a while, but then thrived when the network made the switch to the new “CW”.
This season has been heating up quite a bit and we’ve got a brand new video package showing us clips from the next three episodes of the show. First, from tonight’s “I Believe the Children Are Our Future”, A series of strange and seemingly unexplainable deaths in a small town lead Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) to the home of a young local boy, whose true identity has Castiel (Misha Collins) bent on his immediate destruction.
From “The Curious Case of Dean Winchester”, airing next Thursday, when a 25-year-old man drops dead of old age and a 60-something man goes missing, »
