In the fashion world, where every detail counts, Rachel Bilson stands out with her petite frame. She measures a charming 5 feet 1 inch (154.9 cm) and claims to be a little taller in interviews.
This Hollywood fashionista, known for her impeccable style, rocks a US shoe size 5. It’s all about finding the perfect fit, and for our international readers, that’s a UK size 3, an EU size 35-36, and a Japanese size around 21.5 to 22 cm.
Rachel’s stature is a nod to the unique beauty of being petite. She’s about 7.7 cm shorter than the average American woman, who typically stands around 5 feet 4 inches (162.6 cm).

How often do we see a sequel to a spinoff that is actually a lot of fun? What if you then also made it a tragic love story that involves zombies? That sounds like a Roger Corman or Troma movie but in actuality it’s Return of the Living Dead III (watch it Here) and its from channel favorite Brian Yuzna. Return of the Living Dead is a stone cold classic and is one that I sometimes prefer watching over any of the original Romero trilogy due to how different it is and how it sets up its own rules. Part 2 I have great memories of seeing on TV at my Nana’s house in Santa Ana, California on an old tube TV. It skates that Evil Dead II line of leaning much further into the comedy realm than the first, which is pretty funny in its own way and right.

When Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage launched The O.C. in 2003, it would change TV — and teen dramas — forever.
It’s a winding journey that the duo captured with the help of Alan Sepinwall, Rolling Stone’s chief TV critic, in Welcome to The O.C.: The Oral History. Across 11 chapters — and a prologue that teases the wild ride — the trio, along with the cast, writers, crew members, producers, journalists, fans and studio and network executives, trace the show from its early origins to its very last days on set, and beyond.
Not only would the show bring Savage and Schwartz together in what has become one of TV’s most fruitful partnerships with Fake Empire Productions, but it would go on to inspire a library of young adult shows, from Gossip Girl (and its reboot) and The Carrie Diaries to Marvel’s Runaways and Looking for Alaska; multiple reality...

In the new book “Welcome to the O.C.: The Oral History” from Rolling Stone’s chief TV critic Alan Sepinwall (via TooFab), Adam Brody admits that his behavior grew unprofessional in later seasons when he became unhappy with the material. Series creator Josh Schwartz said Brody’s waning interest to the show was not unique.
“By the time we got to Season 3, we were all burned out,” Schwartz said. “We’d made so many episodes so quickly, and I think it wasn’t a happy set for long stretches of it. Quite frankly, everybody was over it at that point. And I was one of those people who was over it at that point. It had been a great ride, but it had been a volatile ride.”
Julie Cooper actor Melinda Clarke recalled, “We were very aware in Season 3 of how disliked the scripts were, especially by the kids.

The young actors of the series, Benjamin McKenzie, Adam Brody, Mischa Barton and Rachel Bilson quickly became in-demand stars and the theme song “California” by Phantom Planet became a top ten hit in several countries while also reaching 35 on Billboard’s Alternative Airplay chart.

On August 5, 2003, the Fox network premiered The O.C., a teen drama set against the lush backdrop of Newport Beach, California, about the chaos that ensues when wealthy lawyer Sandy Cohen (Peter Gallagher) takes Ryan Atwood (Ben McKenzie), a kid from the wrong side of the tracks, to live with his family in their huge McMansion. The show was an instant sensation, making stars out of McKenzie, Mischa Barton (as fragile Newport princess Marissa Cooper), Adam Brody (as Sandy’s nerdy son Seth), and Rachel Bilson (as Seth’s forever crush...

One of the greatest horror-comedies of all time, Dan O’Bannon’s 1985 movie The Return of the Living Dead ended up launching a franchise that to date includes five total movies, but you mostly only hear horror fans talking about the first three. The first sequel came in 1988 and featured returning actors, but 1993’s Brian Yuzna-directed Return of the Living Dead 3 went in an entirely different direction with a wildly different storyline. It’s become a cult classic in recent years, thanks in large part to its central villain, a sexy zombie played by Melinda Clarke.
And then we got Return of the Living Dead: Necropolis and Return of the Living Dead: Rave to the Grave, both released direct-to-television in 2005. Why don’t horror fans talk about them? Well, they took the franchise down a not-quite-desirable path, the two films cheaply made and shot at the same time. And...

In the end, was Spotify’s acquisition of Gimlet and Parcast all a waste?
That’s how unionized staffers at Gimlet and Parcast described Spotify’s decision on Monday to begin shuttering the two podcast studios that the audio giant had purchased in 2019 for 221 million euros. “When Spotify purchased Gimlet and Parcast for nearly $300 million, they acquired an incredible group of talented people with specific and marketable skills. Then, they wasted that opportunity: canceling shows with dedicated audiences, leaving half-finished projects to die on the vine, and giving teams little direction as to what they actually wanted to see produced,” the Gimlet and Parcast unions said. “Gimlet and Parcast were studios with vision that helped shape our industry. Whether Spotify Studios has a vision remains to be seen.”
Four years after their acquisitions, Gimlet and Parcast will sunset this summer as they combine to make Spotify Studios, an in-house studio division led by Julie McNamara.

Rachel Bilson is opening up about losing out on a job after she talked about sex on a podcast.
“This is the first time it’s ever happened to me in my professional life that I lost a job this week because of things that were said,” Bilson said on her Broad Ideas podcast. “A job got taken away from me because I was speaking candidly and openly about sex in a humorous way on our friend’s podcast.”
Bilson made an appearance on the podcast Women on Top on May 3 where she talked to co-hosts Tammin Sursof and Roxy Manning about her preferences during intimacy with her partner. Melinda Clarke has made a career out of playing strong, capable, and determined women on television, bringing to life icons like The Oc's Julie Cooper, CSI's Lady Heather, and even a fictionalized version of herself, Melinda, on Entourage.
Guest starring on Fantasy Island Season 2 Episode 7 as Island guest Amber, she portrays a seemingly more typical wife and mother whose only wish is for her family to be happy.
But the Island has a way of digging deeper, and TV Fanatic had the opportunity to do a little digging, too, speaking with Clarke about the role and how the story is one so many people can identify with.

Adam Brody has admitted that he stayed on The Oc until the end because quitting “didn’t seem like an option”.
The Fleishman is in Trouble star rose to fame as Seth Cohen on the Fox teen drama, which aired for four seasons from 2003 to 2007.
The show was initially well received, but the critical reception grew more negative as the seasons went on. Many fans also argued that the show had gone downhill following the departure of Mischa Barton at the end of season three.
In a new interview with The Independent, Brody was asked if he’d considered leaving the show before it finished too.
“No, it didn’t seem like an option or the honourable thing to do,” he said. “I didn’t want it to go on forever but I had a contract and I was gonna honour it. I wouldn’t totally screw over the fans either.

Happily ever after isn’t a concept often found in horror, which makes for a perfect antidote to the saccharine sentimentality of Valentine’s Day. Since love is in the air this week, this week’s streaming picks highlight the downside to romance: the brutal heartbreaks.
Because it’s horror, it’s never as straightforward as a breakup. Psychosis, body horror transformations, and death are some of the causes behind this week’s doomed romance titles.
Here’s where you can stream them this week.

Though writer-director Joss Whedon may not be who we thought he was, there is no question that his television shows remain widely loved and celebrated. This is especially true of the imaginative sci-fi Western "Firefly," which aired for only 11 glorious episodes in 2002. Most fans wouldn't see the remaining three episodes until the series came out on DVD in 2004. Fox bungled this one, pure and simple.
Fans mourn what might've been the way Independents look back on the Unification War, but there's no profit to be had in wishing things were different. "Firefly" gave us 14 wonderful episodes before flying off quietly into that good night. At least there was a form of closure in the 2005 film "Serenity," and the story goes on in a series of graphic novels. As the theme song says, "You can't take the sky from me."
With that in mind, this piece means to sort the wheat from the chaff.

Former The Oc stars Mischa Barton, Tate Donovan and Melinda Clarke have teamed up for a brief reunion.
The actors played the Cooper family on the hit Noughties drama, with Donovan and Clarke portraying Jimmy and Julie Cooper and Barton played their troubled daughter, Marissa.
Throughout the series, the Coopers were a central part of many storylines and experienced several significant family traumas, such as bankruptcy, divorce and death.
At a fan event in Charleston, South Carolina, the actors met up and honoured their older characters’ relationships.
“So This Happened! Cooper family reunion!” Clarke began her caption on the photo on Monday (22 August). “Warmed my heart to see these two, @mischabarton and @t8dono, at @tripleellc in Charleston.”
“Aww family photo, so good to catch up with you,” Barton added, while Donovan wrote: “So great to see you all y’all” with a heart-eyes emoji.

The TV industry has been rebooting shows for years, and while many fans are holding out hope for the return of The Oc, one of its stars doesn't believe it will happen.

Bilson and Clarke launched a podcast earlier this year titled "Welcome to The Oc, B---es!" and they recap episodes of the show while talking about their time on the show.
The possibility of a reboot was talked about and Brody doesn't seem to think viewers would connect with a new iteration of the drama.

As reboots, remakes and reimaginings continue to dominate Hollywood, “The O.C.,” one of the most popular teen dramas of all time, would certainly be ripe for a revival. But nearly two decades after the pop culture phenomenon premiered, star Adam Brody says bringing back the show wouldn’t be a good idea.

An “O.C.” reunion turned into a reconciliation for Rachel Bilson and Tate Donovan. Donovan co-starred with and even directed Bilson on the hit teen drama.
On Tuesday’s a May 25 episode of Bilson’s podcast, “Welcome to the O.C., Bitches,” which she co-hosts with actress Melinda Clarke, Donovan sat down to reminisce about his time on the show.
At one point, Donovan recalled a time in which his attitude was, regrettably, out of line. Back in the 1980s, the actor had guest-starred on the classic series, “Mangum P.I.” This eventually led to multiple calls to participate in a reunion special for the show, all of which Donovan declined, citing that he was a “film actor now.”
“Can you believe that? To Tom Selleck himself. I turned down.” A still-dumfounded Donovan said, “I look back on that like, ‘I’m such an a–hole. I never got the...

Burying the hatchet... It's no secret that Tate Donovan has been outspoken about what it was like to work with the younger cast members of The O.C. However, it appears the 57-year-old star is ready to make amends. On Tuesday, May 25, The O.C. director had a sweet heart-to-heart with Rachel Bilson when discussing their time on the beloved Fox series. The sun may have set on The Oc almost 15 years ago, but there's been a thirst for more ever since the series went off the air after four seasons.
Now, two of the stars are speaking out about a potential return to the show.
As previously reported, Rachel Bilson and Melinda Clarke are spearheading a podcast titled "Welcome to The Oc, Bitches," and have revealed they are open to the idea of returning to their roles in a revival.
The pair recently interviewed one another for Entertainment Tonight to promote the podcast, and it was a delight.
"I know we talked about definitely getting together personally, as a reunion ... all of us getting together," Bilson said.
"I think we have spoken to some already, everyone's on board for that."
"But a reboot would be awesome," she continued.
"I think that's in the hands of [creators and executive producers] Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage. There's still a ways to go,...
