Born on an American Air Base in Germany to an American father and
German mother. Father is a veteran of World War II, Korea and Viet Nam
and retired from the U.S. Department of Defense, Strategic Air
Command.
Spent 4 seasons as a professional Roller Derby skater with the Texas Outlaws, New York Bombers and Los Angeles Thunderbirds. Scored the winning points in the 1982 Rollergames World Series in Brisbane, Australia.
Spent several seasons racing short track stock cars and holds a NASCAR
license.
At age 15, became the youngest recipient of the Texas University
Interscholastic League "Best Actor" award. Attended the University Of
Texas at Austin summer theatre program while in high school.
Claims Bobby Hoffman as his mentor and Katherine Hepburn as the most
influential person he has met in the business.
