"You should stay away from them, my dear, unless you want problems." Dark Star Pictures has revealed an official trailer for a crime thriller from Canada called Family Game (a new title only for the US release), made by filmmaker Rafael Ouellet. This premiered in 2022 and already opened in Canada last year, as it's a Quebecois production in the French Canadian language. Set in the Bas-Saint-Laurent region of Quebec, the film centres on the Arsenaults, a family who have been involved in illegal poaching & reselling of wild meat. The return to the fold of Anthony, the impetuous youngest of the family, then the arrival of Émilie, a radio host who exercises an ascendancy over Anthony and his older brother Adam, will come to test the harmony of the clan. The film stars Guillaume Cyr, Pierre-Paul Alain, Karine Vanasse, Jason Cavalier, and Ted Pluviose. This looks like it has a dark...

To Catch a Killer takes us into a police investigation with a lot of rhythm and intrigue… at the beginning. Then the plot goes to the easy resolution.
It wrecks its initial promise.
To Catch a Killer (2023) Movie Review
A good leading duo, well set in a scary Baltimore, with some dizzying first scenes that promise something in the purest David Fincher style… but no, neither the bad guy has the strength of Kevin Spacey nor does the development contain so many elements and the force is quickly lost, despite some sequences with the merit of striving to maintain a tension that, according to the script, wants to be consistent with what a realistic criminal investigation would be.
But it isn’t either, and the fiction is too present to go unnoticed, the characters don’t end up fascinating within their fictional scope, nor do they end up being as...

"I don't think he's looking for destruction, I think he's looking for relief." Wow this is a must watch trailer. Vertical Ent. has revealed an official trailer for To Catch a Killer, another crime thriller to continue with the trend of murder films / series being released by the dozen these days. This will be opening nationwide in theaters in April. It borrows the very same title ("To Catch a Killer") from a popular two-part TV movie from 1992, also about a murder investigation, starring Brian Dennehy and Michael Riley. In this new film, set in Baltimore, a talented but troubled police officer (played by Shailene Woodley) is recruited by the FBI's chief investigator to help profile and track down an elusive mass murderer. In addition to Woodley, the film also stars Ben Mendelsohn, Jovan Adepo, Ralph Ineson, Rosemary Dunsmore, Jason Cavalier, and Mark Camacho. Hey, "Blood & Treasure" fans. We hope you guys enjoyed tonight's episode 12. Now that it has officially come and gone, it's time to take a brief look at what the next, new episode 13 will feature for you guys. Unfortunately, episode 13 will indeed be the season 1 finale episode. So, it's going to be the last one we see for a while. CBS did deliver a very short teaser description for this last episode of season 1. So, that's what we'll be referencing for this spoiler session. As usual, we'll get things started with the title for this episode. It turns out the producers named it, "The Revenge Of Farouk." That's a very fitting title considering the contents of this episode. As most of you know, Farouk was killed off, but his master plan certainly was not. The season 1 finale episode 13 sounds like it will feature some very interesting, possible dramatic, adventured-filled, dangerous...
