Sharon Duce, Georgia MacKenzie and Sam Callis are among the guests stars as Midsomer Murders returns to ITV on 21 March at 8 p.m. InMurder of Innocence, a sleepy town is shocked when a local barrister is brutally killed. The finger of suspicion immediately falls on a recently released convict who was prosecuted by the man in question and just happened to be released from jail on the day of the murder. Midsomer’s finest cops soon discover that the suspect has a water tight alibi but could he be working with an accomplice? Or is he also on the real killer’s hit list?
Neil Dudgeon (Barnaby) and Jason Hughes (Jones) resume their usual roles in Murder of Innocence which is the second feature length episode of Midsomer Murders...

A team of cast members from The Bill have taken part in a mile-long run around the drama's Sun Hill police station for Sport Relief. Alex Walkinshaw (Dale Smith), Sam Callis (Callum Stone), Micah Balfour (Benjamin Gayle) and Ben Richards (Nate Roberts) were among the stars who pounded the pavements surrounding the station in order to encourage the public to participate in a Sport Relief Mile event later this month. Former Casualty actress Sarah Manners has signed up to star in The Bill. Manners, who played Bex Reynolds in the BBC One hospital drama, will join the cast as area car driver Kirsty Knight from February. Her character will be involved in a storyline alongside Sgt Callum Stone (Sam Callis). "Kirsty is a lively addition to the team. The Bill producers have splashed out a six-figure sum on a dramatic car crash stunt, a report claims. A future episode of the ITV1 police drama sees a vehicle exploding into flames following a chase involving its driver and Sun Hill cops. Following the crash, Sgt Callum Stone (Sam Callis) and PC Nate Roberts (Ben Richards) battle against the clock to rescue the trapped motorist.
