In spite of almost two decades having passed since the release of the first episode, The Office’s legacy still lives on in the hearts of its fans, who still discuss the sitcom’s hilarious characters and the hidden details giving much insight on them.
Among them there’s obviously the series’ most mysterious onscreen employee, whose charismatic nature makes the fandom love him a lot despite his relatively small screen time. You can already guess that we’re talking about Creed Bratton, the fictionalized version of the actor of the same name and Scranton’s most experienced worker.
Creed’s background is partially revealed by one-off liners delivered by him, but one scene brings more understanding of his past that can both amaze and horrify you.

The recurring rumors and hope for a revival of the beloved NBC sitcom The Office have returned this week, and this time it’s come from a surprising source — Bryan Cranston. And the Breaking Bad Emmy winner thinks the Dunder Mifflin crew should now be working on a bigger screen.
Appearing on the Office Ladies podcast, hosted by two of the series stars, Jenna Fischer and Angela Kinsey, Cranston floated the idea of a The Office feature-length movie, which would show where the whole gang landed a decade after the series concluded.
“Let’s say that there’s not a reboot series, but what if there was a movie?” Cranston pondered on the podcast. “Something to where we can see where these people are. These people in the entire cast that we’re curious about. We wondered at the end, where did they go? What did become of them?”

With the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes, there's been one term that's finally been dying down:
Reboot.
Now that the WGA strike is nearing its end, the term is returning in a big way, and it isn't easy to be excited about this piece of TV news.
The latest edition of the Puck newsletter broke the news that a reboot of the NBC iteration of The Office is in development.
The only bit of good news is that Greg Daniels, who brought the Steve Carell comedy series to life, will shepherd the new adaptation.
There are no details on where the potential series would air, but it's hard to imagine any network not jumping at the opportunity of bringing the iconic comedy back to life.
The Office launched on NBC in 2005 and aired for nine seasons through 2013, picking up numerous awards and acclaim.

The Office stretched out Jim (John Krasinski) and Pam (Jenna Fischer)’s relationship for many seasons. When they got married in season 6, it only inspired more funny and heart wrenching stories. There was one episode Krasinski said gave him complete faith in the writers with Jim and Pam’s story.

You’ve probably never heard of “Pbc.” For accountants, Pbc is a common acronym for “Provided by Client.” Also for accountants: FloQast software. And, in what seems like the ultimate bad idea for target-demo marketing, “Pbc” is a branded-content comedy series about accounting that’s produced by FloQast Studios.
But here’s the weird part: “Pbc” is not bad. Its supporting cast includes Danny Trejo (“Machete”), Kate Flannery (“The Office”), and Pete Gardner (“Crazy Ex-Girlfriend”). It just added Cheri Oteri (“Saturday Night Live”) and Neil Flynn(“Scrubs”). You probably wouldn’t know the series’ leads, Jessica Sarah Flaum and Christian A. Pierce, but they’re talented and have a total Jim-and-Pam thing going on.
If you want to check it out, Season 2 is now streaming (timed by FloQast to give accountants some much-need levity ahead of the busy accounting season). “Pbc” is not the next big Nielsen hit; for one thing,...

When Dolly Parton learned she was going to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, her first reaction was to tell her supporters not to vote for her since she saw herself as strictly a country artist. But when she walked onstage near the end of the induction ceremony Saturday night at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, after witnessing an incredible evening of music by artists as diverse as Eminem, Judas Priest, Lionel Richie, and Duran Duran, a beaming Parton had a very different take on the situation.

You’ll have heard that young people don’t watch television anymore, which might come as some surprise to young people. They absolutely still watch television, just on their own schedule, not that of a broadcaster, and not the way it used to be done, anchored to a single spot or even a single screen.
If young people didn’t watch television, then The Office: An American Workplace wouldn’t have been streamed for 57 billion minutes in the US in 2020, because it’s far from only those of us who’ve experienced the mundanity of office life who love The Office. Increasingly, it’s youngsters who find in Dunder Mifflin a kind of refuge. They stream The Office like the middle-aged pour a glass of wine after a long day – liberally and probably more often than is good for them. Teenage superstar Billie Eilish told the ‘An Oral History of...

"We need to find something that real gamers really want to play." Blue Fox Entertainment has released an official trailer for an indie comedy titled Hero Mode, the feature directorial debut of producer / filmmaker A.J. Tesler. With his family’s indie video game business on the brink of bankruptcy, a teenage coding genius has just 30 days to create the world’s greatest video game. "No pressure." They're playing this as a family comedy for all ages, and it definitely looks like it's made to make everyone laugh. Hero Mode stars Chris Carpenter as Troy, Mira Sorvino, Sean Astin plus Indiana Massara as Paige, along with Mary Lynn Rajskub, Kimia Behpoornia, Phillip Solomon, Monte Markham, Creed Bratton, Jim O'Heir, Erik Griffin, Bobby Lee, and Al Madrigal. This is extremely cheesy and especially obvious in its video game designer humor. But there is still some kind of strange charm to it that might make it worth watching.

The made-for-tv movie was a programming staple for the broadcast networks in the 1970s and 1980s. While it fell out of favor in the 1990s and was even dropped as an Emmy Awards category for three years beginning in 2011, it has been on an upswing as of late. This year, 28 telefilms are in contention for the five nominations that will be revealed on July 28; last year only 21 TV movies were submitted.
All 22,000 plus voting members of the TV academy have until July 13 to cast their 2020 Emmy Awards nominations ballots for their favorite TV movies. In the past, voters were limited in the number of telefilms that they could put forth. In 2017 that cap (which was usually 10 per category) was lifted. And, as opposed to the Oscars, voters for the Emmys do not rank their choices and nominees are determined by a simple tally.

Arguably one of the best shows on television right now, Killing Eve‘s third season deserves a lot more praise than it got.
“Superb, stylish, and tragically beautiful are just a few words to describe Killing Eve as a whole, though the third season of this BBC hit, in particular, was especially brilliant, despite what the many negative reviews written by cis male critics say. Sandra Oh, Jodie Comer, Fiona Shaw, Kim Bodnia, and the rest of the cast delivered stellar performances, as usual, but it wasn’t simply the performances that tied the season together—it was also the character development throughout.”

As every true fan of The Office knows, Creed Bratton had a long and interesting life long before he joined up with the crew at Dunder Mifflin. The cast of The Office has reunited for a very special wedding on Zoom, recreating the memorable wedding entrance dance from Jim and Pam’s wedding on the iconic sitcom.
It all happened on Office alum John Krasinski’s weekly quarantine YouTube series Good News. Maryland couple John and Susan happen to be big fans of the show and sent Krasinski the video of John’s proposal. John had re-enacted how Jim Halpert (Krazinski) asked Pam Beesly (Jenna Fischer) to marry him on The Office. “He got down on one knee and just like Jim he was like, ‘I can’t wait any longer,’” Susan recalled.
Krasinski was so excited when he saw the video, he became an ordained minister online so that he could officiate their wedding. Krasinski even gathered the couple’s close friends and family on Zoom and performed the ceremony immediately. Country music star Zac Brown performed the music.

John Krasinski’s quarantine web series “Some Good News” is the gift that keeps on giving. The show launched in March with a premiere episode that reunited Krasinski with his “Office” co-star Steve Carell, but Krasinski topped himself during the May 10 installment by bringing together the entire ensemble of NBC’s legendary sitcom via Zoom video chat. “The Office” cast reunited to surprise two diehard fans of the show that had just gotten married on the same “Some Good News” episode.
Susan and John of Maryland wrote to Krasinski earlier in the year to let him know that John asked Susan to marry him by recreating Jim’s proposal to Pam on “The Office.” Krasinki starred as Jim on all seasons of “The Office” opposite Jenna Fischer’s Pam. Krasinski brought Susan and John onto “Some Good News” where Susan told him, “John got down on one knee and, just like Jim,...

John Krasinski brought back more than a dozen castmates from “The Office,” including Steve Carell, Jenna Fischer, Mindy Kaling and Rainn Wilson, to throw a virtual wedding for a Maryland couple on his weekly life-in-quarantine YouTube show, “Some Good News.”
Susan and John, whose marriage proposal echoed Jim’s to Pam on “The Office,” were surprised by Krasinski on a live videoconference, who first brought their parents and friends.
Krasinski, officiating the virtual nuptials, then introduced Jenna Fischer as Susan’s maid of honor and country singer Zac Brown, who performed a new yet-to-be-released song, “The Man Who Loves You the Most,” for the couple.
After pronouncing Susan and John man and wife, Krasinski delivered the big reveal: Virtually the entire cast of “The Office” popped up on the screen and dance to Chris Brown’s “Forever” — a nod to the famous scene in the show’s Season...

It’s interesting to find out just what happens to some people when their shows end since some folks go on to do great things and are easy to notice, while others kind of fade out either because they were extras, supporting characters, or had nothing else when the show ended and kind of just got lost in the shuffle since they couldn’t adapt. When it comes to William Charles Schneider, or Creed Bratton as he’s known in The Office, the decline didn’t exactly take him out of show business, but it hasn’t been as good to him as you might

Just in time for Independence Day, the latest episode of the Blumhouse TV/Hulu series Into the Dark is set to premiere on July 4th. Entitled Culture Shock, the film is directed by Gigi Saul Guerrero and is centered around a young woman named Marisol (Martha Higareda), who has dreams of moving from Mexico to the United States, but finds herself immersed in a hyper-realistic nightmare when her wish is fulfilled, and her experiences in the Us of A aren't exactly all they're cracked up to be. Are these new pilots from Amazon trash? Of course they are! Here’s a guide.Just Robb Stark over here, wearin’ shades in outer space
Crowds may not be able to fund things, but they can give opinions. Or, at the very least, that’s been the idea behind Amazon’s occasional Pilot Season, generating enthusiasm for their programming by giving ordinary folk like yourself the opportunity to watch pilots and say, gee, this blows and vote them a big n’ meaningful thumbs down. Last year, they took everything, so it might just be a load of promotional nonsense. But it might not.
So, what’s hip in this line of potential programing? Once canceled TV-hands like Steve Dildarian and Amy Sherman-Palladino return with their latest attempts to enthuse audience with binge-worthy hours of spectacle and movie men like James Ponsoldt and Kevin Macdonald try to get into this golden age of TV they’ve been hearing...

Amazon released five new pilots on Friday, and it’s up to viewers to determine which ones get picked up. “The Legend of Master Legend,” “Budding Prospects,” “The New V.I.P.’s,” “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” and “Oasis” make up the 2017 Amazon pilot season. Some are good, some are bad, but the power lies with all of us to determine which are worthy of a full season order. Read our reviews below to get a little insight into each offering, and watch the episodes for yourself right here.

John Hawkes can’t catch a break. When he nabbed the lead in Charlie Kaufman’s FX pilot — Charlie Kaufman — it didn’t get picked up. He landed an Oscar nomination for “The Sessions,” but his follow-ups have meant diddly-squat comparatively. Sure, he stole a few scenes in “Lincoln” and got to take part in Amy Schumer’s amazing sketch,...

Rian Johnson's Brick is one of my favorite films because of the way the writer/director so deftly created a throwback film noir movie set in a modern day high school. It looks like directors Adam and Aaron Nee have done something similar with Band of Robbers, a comedy that imagines the famous Mark Twain characters of Huckleberry Finn (Kyle Gallner) and Tom Sawyer (Adam Nee) as modern day criminals. If that premise doesn't whet your appetite enough, Supergirl star Melissa Benoist co-stars as Becky Thatcher, and actors like The Office's Creed Bratton, comedian Hannibal Buress, and Avatar's Stephen Lang also have roles here.
The Playlist points us to a new red-band trailer for the film, and this definitely looks like it's worth checking out. Band of Robbers hits select theaters and VOD on January 15th, 2016.

While this month's "Macbeth" puts some serious dirt under the fingernails of Shakespeare's classic play, it's not the only literary creation getting a tweak. Writer, director, and star of "Band Of Robbers," Adam Nee, takes the work of Mark Twain, and puts a new spin on Huckleberry Finn and Tom Sawyer in his comedy crime caper to winning effect, and a new trailer is here to show that vaunted literature can find fresh reinvention. Starring Kyle Gallner, Matthew Gray Gubler, Hannibal Buress, Melissa Benoist, Daniel Mora, Eric Christian Olsen, Stephen Lang, Creed Bratton, and more, the film follows Huck, recently sprung from prison, who teams with his old pal Tom for one last scheme. Here's the official synopsis: A modern-day retelling of Mark Twain’s iconic books, Band of Robbers is a comedic adventure that reimagines the characters as grown men, and small-time crooks. When Huck Finn is released from prison,...

Creed was always the most mysterious character on The Office, but the season-four trailer for Comedy Bang! Bang! lets us in on one of his secrets: He's been the grandfather from The Princess Bride all along. The trailer kicks off with Creed—a.k.a. actor Creed Bratton—introducing the concept of books to his grandson, who's busy playing video games. Grandpa Creed promises that, like the story in The Princess Bride, this book "has heroes and villains and fencing and fighting, and maybe even a little romance." And, as the trailer shows, it also has a lot of cool guest stars.
