T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach are ready to get back out there — as a couple and as paid employees.
For starters, Et has learned Holmes and Robach on Sunday attended a memorial service for Howard Bragman, the public relations and crisis management expert and longtime LGBTQ+ activist who died last month following a short battle with leukemia.
An eyewitness tells Et that “they arrived together and were very much a couple. They were in good spirits despite the sad occasion. That same eyewitness tells Et they overheard them “expressing frustration about the paparazzi following their every move.”
The public outing comes after their Valentine’s Day trip to Mexico, where they showered each other with plenty of Pda, from holding hands while out shopping to kissing while enjoying a little R&r.

Howard Bragman — an architect of modern public relations and queer rights advocate who died last month — was celebrated by friends, family, and former clients in an emotional memorial on Sunday in Los Angeles.
A packed private park in North Hollywood adorned with string lights and a humble stage welcomed guests including Stevie Wonder, Lizzy Caplan, Melissa Rivers, Judy Garland’s daughter Lorna Luft, and Bragman’s musician husband Michael Maimone. Industry types in attendance included Oscar winner and “The Woman King” producer Cathy Shulman, former Entertainment Weekly editor Jess Cagle, and former “Good Morning America” hosts Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes. Bragman’s brother Adam and his client Don Lemon sent video tributes honoring the late executive.
“Honestly, I’m kind of shocked that Howard has allowed me to speak without going over talking points and vetting the audience,” joked Rivers, a long-time Bragman charge who said she “lost a true friend and trusted advisor.

Diversity has historically been slow to come to the highly filmed stretch of Orion Avenue in Los Angeles’ San Fernando Valley known as Cameron Woods. But the same throwback suburban qualities that have long brought film crews to its spacious ranch-style homes and Cape Cods — it’s called “The Leave It to Beaver Street” for a reason — are drawing new residents who look more like the surrounding city.
Cameron Woods residents are still mostly white, a contrast to the rest of Van Nuys where it’s situated and heavily Latino. Traditionally, the 30 or so homes on this upscale stretch of Orion Avenue between Victory Boulevard and Erwin Street rarely came up for sale, instead passing to family members or the children of neighbors. But as more of those homeowners have been “aging out” or otherwise moving on, the increased turnover is bringing greater diversity.

So Howard Bragman has died.
I will miss him–not because we were especially close, but because he had a gift for making every encounter kind of fun, and, often, more memorable than it was supposed to be.
The last time I spoke with Howard was some months ago. He had called, apropos of nothing much, to marvel at the way Disney CEO Bob Chapek had managed to offend almost everyone with his back-and-forth approach to the company’s sex-and-real estate problem in Florida. This was a thing of wonder to a professional crisis manager like Bragman. Usually, you manage to make someone happy.
At the time, Howard said he, personally, was happy enough. Having weathered a domestic crisis of some sort, he was living in Toluca Lake and having an unexpectedly good time. I didn’t ask, so I can’t tell you more.
But the encounter that really...

Pink-slipped Spectrum NY1 meteorologist Erick Adame doesn’t expect to get his old job back after being let go for appearing an adult cam website but thinks he could be working again soon.
“I think it’s a different generation out there,” Adame’s crisis-management representative Howard Bragman told Deadline on Tuesday. “I think younger people just don’t care about these kinds of things; it’s not an issue. I think when you talk about people under 40, virtual sex and nude photos are pretty much part of the life.”
Adame, the veteran weather reporter, apologized Monday after saying he was let go after his secret appearances on the cam site were leaked to the public. But Bragman said Adame already has had at least one job offer and is likely to return to television.
“I have to say the public response has been overwhelmingly supportive for Erick,” the PR vet added.

Johnny Depp scored a clear and unexpected victory in court last week. His attorney, Ben Chew, implored the Virginia jury to restore his name, his reputation and his career, and the jury responded — finding that Depp’s ex-wife, Amber Heard, had defamed him when accusing him of domestic violence.
But while jury verdicts are binary — liable or not liable, guilty or not guilty — Hollywood does not work that way. Depp has suffered tremendous reputational damage, much of it self-inflicted, and still has a lot of work to do if he wants to revive his career.
“It’s not a light-switch,” says Howard Bragman, a crisis consultant to celebrity clients. “It’s a road back.”
In Depp’s favor, the trial mobilized a passionate, digitally savvy fan base, and gave him a platform to triumph while owning his flaws. But even if the general public accepts the jury’s verdict, he...

If you’re wondering why not one of Hollywood’s major studios has spoken out over the threat to abortion rights posed by the Supreme Court’s likely repeal of Roe v. Wade, it’s not because plenty of people aren’t angry. But leaders of the entertainment industry seem hamstrung between their overwhelming opposition to the end of abortion rights and the fear of alienating large parts of the country where abortion may soon become illegal. “If the states decide after the Supreme Court ruling [to ban abortion], it’s going to be hard as a studio to say, ‘We’re not going to do business there.’ We’re not going to do business in half the country? A studio’s job is not to divide and conquer, like politics. A studio’s job is to aggregate as many people as they can,” Howard Bragman, a crisis PR veteran, told TheWrap. “The question becomes,...

Sherri Shepherd has nothing but praise for Wendy Williams following the news that The Wendy Williams Show is ending.
Shepherd, who is set to take over the slot with a talk show of her own in the fall, appeared on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen Wednesday.
“She made her own path, but what Wendy does nobody can re-create,” Shepherd said.
"I love her fearlessness, and that is something I want to emulate and keep going. She opened a lot of doors and she’s up there with the greats.”
During the same interview, Shepherd said that Rosie O'Donnell was a pivotal part of her salary negotiations when taking on the full-time gig.
“Rosie told me how much she made and she told me how to negotiate,” Shepherd shared.

Wendy Williams will not be returning to her daytime talk show this season, but the future of her show remains in flux, Variety has learned.
Meanwhile, Sherri Shepherd is in advanced discussions with Lionsgate’s Debmar-Mercury for her own daytime talk show, which could potentially replace Williams’ series, sources say.
Currently in its 13th season, “The Wendy Williams Show” is one of the biggest hits in daytime TV history. Launching in national syndication from Debmar-Mercury in 2008, the show was built around Williams, who, at the time the show premiered, was a popular radio host known for her no-holds-barred take on celebrity gossip.
Williams has been absent from her show all this season, as she has been battling ongoing health issues. Williams suffers from Graves’ disease, an autoimmune disorder.

Bill Cosby built an entertainment empire by playing a helpful, wholesome, fatherly figure in everything from his landmark “Cosby Show” on NBC to the animated “Fat Albert” series to memorable commercials for Jell-o Pudding Pops.
But industry insiders say there is little chance that the disgraced 83-year-old entertainer may be able to chart a comeback, now that he has won release on a technicality from a prison term after being convicted in 2018 on three counts of aggravated assault against former Temple University employee Andrea Constand. That trial came amid a cascade of allegations that Cosby committed sexual assaults on more than 60 women.

Sharon Osbourne may be done talking in the world of daytime TV, at least on CBS, but we still might get to hear her side of the story.
According to Page Six, Osbourne got a payday of as much as eight figures when she left The Talk.
“Sharon is walking away with a $5 to $10 million minimum payout and was able to spin that it was her decision [to leave the show],” a source told the outlet.
What's more, there is no clause in her agreement to depart that prevents her from speaking out about what went down.
“Sharon will talk when she is ready,” another source close to the situation told Page Six.
“She still wants to give her side of the story. She has been on that show for 11 years and knows all the secrets.”
Sharon's future on the show was thrown into question following a heated on-air debate with Sheryl Underwood about her support for Piers Morgan.

It's official.
Sharon Osbourne will not be returning to The Talk.
CBS released a statement announcing the news while also revealing that star is leaving of her own accord.
"The events of the March 10 broadcast were upsetting to everyone involved, including the audience watching at home," reads a statement from CBS, according to Deadline.
"As part of our review, we concluded that Sharon’s behavior toward her co-hosts during the March 10 episode did not align with our values for a respectful workplace," it continues.
"We also did not find any evidence that CBS executives orchestrated the discussion or blindsided any of the hosts."
"At the same time, we acknowledge the Network and Studio teams, as well as the showrunners, are accountable for what happened during that broadcast as it was clear the co-hosts were not properly prepared by the staff for a complex and sensitive discussion involving race," the statement adds.

The ladies of The Talk will not be assembling any time soon.
The rapidly expanding hiatus was supposed to end on Tuesday, March 23, but it has now been extended for a third time, until at least Monday, March 29.
The news comes just days after journalist Yashar Ali published a substack in which he detailed alleged racist and homophobic remarks Osbourne is said to have made against her co-workers on the series.
Leah Remini, a former star of the series, was cited in the report.
Howard Bragman, Osbourne's publicist, subsequently issued a statement in which he called the allegations "lies."
His statement read, "The only thing worse than a disgruntled former employee is a disgruntled former talk show host."
"For 11 years Sharon has been kind, collegial and friendly with her hosts as evidenced by throwing them parties, inviting them to her home in the UK and other gestures of kindness too many to name.

For a long time, Olivia Munn didn’t fully grasp a question that she got asked all the time in interviews: Journalists would want to know about the difference between being a man and woman in Hollywood.
“I got it for years before it clicked with me one day when I answered it,” Munn said. “I used to think it was a silly question. But there is a difference, and I think people are trying to understand what the difference is.”
“And to me at least,” Munn continued, “the difference between being a woman and a man in any industry is that before I speak up, I immediately in my head think of three different ways to say what I’m going to say. And from what I’ve understood from talking to male colleagues, it doesn’t happen like that.”

Since the New York Times published its investigation into Harvey Weinstein, dozens upon dozens of women (and several men) have come forward with sexual misconduct allegations against male celebrities, most of whom have seen their careers put on permanent ice as a result. In the intervening years, however, a handful of men (and a few women) who have faced such allegations have slowly attempted to reclaim the spotlight, regardless of whether the public is ready to embrace them or not.

Seeing your spin doctor is just like seeing your medical doctor after a scary diagnosis: Everyone wants to know how bad it is.

Felicity Huffman and Lori Loughlin need to follow one simple rule if they hope to ever have a career in showbiz again, top crisis managers say: maintain a very low profile.
Susan Tellem, a partner with Tellem Grody PR, Inc. in Malibu, said the women should “just stay quiet and disappear as much as possible.”
“This is now a fraud case” she said. “This is a blatant crime that is being charged, not just an accusation. So anything she says will be part of the litigation.”
And Howard Bragman, a crisis public relations expert, suggested: “Don’t say anything publicly and listen to your attorneys.”

Hollywood loves a comeback story, whether it’s an actor overcoming an addiction or a director finding a hit after a series of flops. It offers hope.
In the era of reckoning, that sentiment seems somewhat out of fashion. “Their time is up,” Oprah Winfrey said at last year’s Golden Globes, dispatching sexual harassers with biblical finality.
The hiring of John Lasseter, the former creative guru at Pixar who last year was forced to step aside at Disney amid a sexual harassment scandal, is becoming a test case of which impulse — redemption or condemnation — now prevails. Last week, Skydance Media CEO David Ellison named Lasseter to run his animation division.
Lasseter was accused of groping staffers, making lascivious comments, kissing underlings on the lips and thwarting the careers of female animators. Ellison, in making the announcement on Jan. 9, argued that Lasseter had reformed, had learned from his mistakes and made amends.

No matter Kevin Spacey‘s intent in releasing his latest public statement — a bizarre video he posted earlier this week — experts say it likely did him more damage than good.
On Monday, the 59-year-old actor posted a video to his social media accounts in which he seemed to be channeling his deceased House of Cards character, Frank Underwood, monologuing to the camera about how he knows his audience wants him back while also vaguely addressing the allegations of sexual misconduct against him.
“Some believed everything and have just been waiting with bated breath to hear me confess it all,” Spacey said in the video.

Who would have thought that the Super Bowl Halftime show, an American institution watched by more than 100 million people, would become the least wanted gig in music? But thanks to the ongoing controversy concerning the NFL’s stance on a player’s right to protest, brought to the forefront by football’s top conscientious objector Colin Kaepernick, Maroon 5 are learning the precarious stance that the performance represents.
According to sources, the band has reached out to more than a half-dozen stars to appear as featured guests during the 13-minute slot midway through Super Bowl Liii, but so far, none have agreed to do it. Among those considering the appearance are Cardi B, who is featured on the Maroon 5 hit “Girls Like You,” which spent seven weeks at No. 1 over the fall (the rapper is also scheduled to appear at the Grammy Awards on Feb. 10) and Andre Benjamin, Aka Andre 3000 of beloved local act Outkast.

Kevin Hart might have saved his Oscars hosting gig if he had put more thought and care into his apology following backlash over his past homophobic comments, an expert tells People.
The comedian, 39, stepped down from the prestigious post last week and apologized for his past homophobic comments and tweets, less than two hours after he declared that he would not apologize.
“You have to say the words ‘I’m sorry.’ His first apology was a non-apology,” says Howard Bragman, a longtime crisis manager and founder of La Brea Media. “I thought he handled it badly. It felt really insincere and sincerity counts.

It’s true. PR people are often called “apologists.” I don’t bristle at that description, because apologizing and getting it right is a crucial skill set for today’s crisis manager.
Apologies are hard to do — they are humbling, irritating and often required during periods of high emotional pressure and agitation. I promise, we live in a very forgiving world, people want to forgive you. A solid apology allows that.
For public figures apologies may affect your image, your career options and of course your income, and I have always believed that our reputations are the most valuable things we own.
As we just saw with Kevin Hart and the Oscars, a botched apology can lose you a dream job if handled badly.
Don’t let the anger get the best of you. Get in touch with your most rational self, and get a team together to help you.

Kevin Hart’s failure to quickly and effectively respond to controversy over his homophobic tweets shows that celebrities have little margin for error when faced with a burgeoning scandal. Over the span of 24 hours, Hart’s dreams of hosting the Oscars went up in smoke after the comic offered up two non-apologies that were alternately churlish, defiant, and indignant.
“In this day and age you’ve got minutes, if not seconds to deal with a crisis,” said Andrew Blum, head of the crisis PR firm Ajb Communications. “You always offer the most apologetic statement first and he didn’t.”
That didn’t happen. Instead, it was only on his third attempt, following two Instagram videos that public relations gurus say were tone deaf, that Hart seemed to recognize he’d hurt people.
“I sincerely apologize to the Lgbtq community for my insensitive words from my past,” he tweeted on Thursday...
