General Hospital is definitely one of those shows that you can say has it all. And it's no wonder: the soap opera has been on the air for more than 60 years! We have seen a lot of love stories, cheating scandals, kidnappings, disgusting behavior and the list goes on...
The fans of the ongoing drama are the most loyal viewers out there, as they seem to remember and reminisce about everything that has ever happened on the show. And that includes characters that are no longer on screen and, frankly, should be long forgotten.
But most of all the fans of the soap opera love to reminisce about the couples that are no longer together. The characters are already happily married or dating somebody else, but the fans are still asking God to send them back so they can enjoy them more.
One of the last obsessions was the couple that included Johnny and Lulu.

The 2020 Daytime Emmy nominations were announced on Thursday, May 21, and they came with good news for Katherine Kelly Lang: she earned a Best Actress bid for playing Brooke Logan on “The Bold and the Beautiful.” But even though she has been on the show since it premiered in 1987, she has yet to take home the gold. Will this finally be her year?
For decades the television academy gave Lang the cold shoulder entirely. It took until 2013 for her to earn her first nomination — more than a quarter-century after she originated the role of Brooke. She contended for Best Supporting Actress that year, and in 2014 she earned her second nomination in row, but that time for Best Actress. She lost those awards to Julie Berman (“General Hospital”) and Eileen Davidson (“Days of Our Lives”), respectively.

Should “General Hospital” recast the presumed-dead Morgan Corinthos with a recent “Days of Our Lives” alum? There are no official reported plans to resurrect the character as of this writing, but a Twitter exchange prompted speculation about the possibility of Billy Flynn moving from Salem to Port Charles to pick up where Bryan Craig left off. What do you think? Scroll down to vote in our poll at the very bottom of this post.
Mob scion Morgan was born on-screen on “Gh” in 2003, the son of crime boss Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Carly Corinthos (currently played by Laura Wright). He was portrayed by a few different child and teen actors over the years before he was rapidly aged into young adulthood with the casting of Craig in 2013. Craig stayed with the show until 2016, and ended up winning two Daytime Emmys for Best Younger Actor (2016-2017), thanks in large part...

Chloe Lanier exited “General Hospital” last fall, but she might not be done with the soap just yet, at least not at the Daytime Emmys. She won Best Younger Actress last year for her role as the scheming Nelle Benson, and she’s pre-nominated again for that performance. Will she win again for her conniving ways? “Gh” is the most awarded soap in this category’s history with nine victories, and Lanier would be the third from the show to win back-to-back.
Sarah Brown was the first consecutive winner for “Gh,” prevailing in 1997 and 1998 for playing Carly Benson, who turned out to be Nelle’s adoptive sister. Brown won a third Emmy for Best Supporting Actress in 2000 when she aged out of the younger category (the cutoff is 26), and she left “Gh” shortly thereafter. The role of Carly was then played by Tamara Braun (2001-2005) and Jennifer Bransford (2005). Then Laura Wright...

Beverly Hills, Calif. — "Days of Our Lives" won drama series honors for just the second time in 40 years at the Daytime Emmys in a rough-hewn ceremony that included more upsets and an envelope mix-up on Sunday night.
The NBC soap opera that began in 1965 beat out defending champion "General Hospital" and former three-time winner "The Bold and the Beautiful," among others.
The category included the only four remaining soaps still airing on the broadcast networks in addition to "One Life to Live," which has found new life on the Internet after being canceled.
"Days" only other drama series win was in 1978.
The show claimed one other trophy: Chandler Massey as outstanding younger actor.
Doug Davidson of "The Young and the Restless" and Heather Tom of "The Bold and the Beautiful" won lead acting honors.
Davidson earned his first career trophy for a role he's played since 1978. Tom, who previously was on "Y&R,...

Ready for a little Two and a Half Men spoiler? Get ready! Former General Hospital actress Julie Marie Berman is coming to town! Hey, Alan, I think she’s single.
For about 8 years, Berman brought to life Lulu Spencer for General Hospital, but ER and Boston Public are also on her resume. Lulu, the Port Charles-born blonde, was once cryogenically frozen in one of the soap opera’s crazier story lines. Pretty nifty, no?
Just the opposite can be expected when she comes to the Two and a Half Men set. Berman is going to heat things up instead. TVLine has confirmed that the actress will be a “micro guest” the May 2 episode. Her character is a pretty girl in a bar who with catch Alan’s fancy. Good luck with that, Alan! I know you’ll find some way to screw up your chances. But don’t worry.
