The transition to the sound film was no problem for Henry Bender and he was able to impersonate interesting roles in many movies before he died in 1933 at the age of 66.
From 1915 began his real film career with "Wie werde ich Amanda los?" (1915).
The actor Harry Bender already made his film debut in 1908 with "Schutzmannslied" (1908) and "Donnerwetter, tadellos" (1908).
In the 20's followed the height of his career and he took part in numerous well-known productions.
His activity kept undiminished in the second part of the 20's and it followed other popular productions, among them "Der Stolz der Kompagnie" (1926), "Der Hauptmann von Köpenick" (1926), "Im weissen Rössl" (1926) and "Die Frau ohne Nerven" (16929).
