Erik Barnouw was born on 23 June 1908 in The Hague, Zuid-Holland, Netherlands. He was a writer and producer, known for Hiroshima Nagasaki August, 1945 (1946), The United States Steel Hour (1953) and Columbia University Seminar (1952). He was married to Betty Barnouw. He died on 19 July 2001 in Fair Haven, Vermont, USA.
