He gave up acting by his early teens to pursue his avid interest in
sports and a career in teaching. He studied English and English and
Social Studies at the university in Albany then received a Masters
Degree in Education at the College of Saint Rose, Albany, New York.
Once qualified, he taught English and History at Duanesburg High School
for two years until his death at the age of twenty-seven.
