In the glamorous world of Hollywood, where stars often seem to lead fairy-tale lives, the reality behind the scenes can be far from glamorous. Sylvester Stallone, renowned for his portrayal of Rocky Balboa, has been in the public eye not only for his cinematic achievements but also for the challenging chapters of his personal life. One such chapter was his whirlwind romance with Brigitte Nielsen, which captivated the public as the two became one of the most iconic celebrity couples of the 1980s.

Sylvester Stallone may be one of the biggest movie stars in Hollywood, but even though he’s got a lot of successful blockbuster films out there, he’s also had his fair share of flopped projects. Not only did these films tank at the box office but they were also critically slammed.

SAG-AFTRA, the prominent actors’ union, is reviewing the allegations surrounding Sylvester Stallone, the star of the Paramount+ show Tulsa King, for allegedly mocking of background actors’ appearances on the Atlanta set.
In response to the growing controversy, a spokesperson for the union issued a statement, “There is no room on any set for disparaging comments to background actors or any performers. ‘Tulsa King’ Casting Company Quits After Sylvester Stallone Accused Of Disparaging Background Actors
An Atlanta-based casting company has left Tulsa King in the wake of allegations that Sylvester Stallone and one of the directors had disparaged some background actors who were working on the Paramount+ drama.
Rose Locke Casting of Atlanta was hired to find actors ages 18 and over for the second season of the Taylor Sheridan series. But apparently the working conditions on Tulsa King soon became fodder on a private Facebook page for Atlanta-based background actors; Stallone and an unnamed director were accused of calling some of the extras “ugly,” “tub of lard” and “fat guy with cane.” The recipient of the latter comment apparently said later that it “hurt his soul” to hear himself described that way on set.
Allegedly, Stallone then suggested that production bring in “pretty young girls to be around me,” instead.
Rose Locke Casting announced on its Facebook page Sunday that it was leaving the show.

In 1989's "Road House," lifelong nightclub cooler/bouncer/warrior John Dalton (Patrick Swayze) shrugs off his various injuries with a sly phrase: "Pain don't hurt." Yet his lady love, Dr. Elizabeth Clay (Kelly Lynch), warns him that while he may shrug away pain right now, years later his injuries will catch up to him and pain will start to hurt very, very much. That's a truth which many athletes, servicepeople, and actors find themselves facing in their middle age and up, one which younger versions of themselves would do well to heed.
One such actor facing that reality is Sylvester Stallone, a star whose career off-screen greatly mirrors his typical journey on-screen. Just like the character closest to his real self, Rocky Balboa, Stallone does his best work when he's got something to prove, whether to himself, to Hollywood, the public, or some combination thereof. Sylvester Stallone‘s daughters automatically knew what it was like to be famous. But the Rocky star was concerned that being celebrity kids might do more harm than good when it came to his family.

Hollywood is full of stories about young celebrities who go off the rails, and Stallone worried his daughters would be one of them. The Stallone sisters grew up very differently from their famous father.
Stallone himself was famously brought up in Hell’s Kitchen, New York, which he didn’t enjoy because of its occasionally harsh environment. At one point, the actor had to sell his dog to make ends meet. His Rocky movie changed everything, allowing not only Stallone to live a comfortable lifestyle, but his daughters as well.

Just like multiple other relationships in the entertainment industry, one of Hollywood’s power couples Jennifer Flavin and Sylvester Stallone too faced quite some ups and downs and breakups and reconciliations throughout the time that they have been together.
For one that has pretty much been on and off for more than three and a half decades, this pair has been one of the strongest ones in all of Hollywood, if not the whole world.

This fact stands true even after Stallone reportedly cheated on his then-girlfriend Flavin by reportedly having an affair with Janice Dickinson in 1994, all the while ending things with Flavin.

Sylvester Stallone and Jennifer Flavin are never ones to sugar coat things, even when it pertains to personal matters within their relationship and family life. The pair - who has a 23-year age gap - first met in the late '80s. Albeit by 1994, Stallone's bachelor lifestyle drove them to call it quits. Sylvester Stallone is one of the most recognized actors in the industry. His breakout role came in 1976 when he starred in "Rocky," which was such a big hit that it received 10 Oscar nominations and went on to inspire a whole film franchise. It also led Sylvester to land his role as John J. Rambo in 1982 action film "First Blood," which, similarly to "Rocky," resulted in a number of sequels that turned Sylvester into a pop-culture icon. Even decades later, he's still dominating Hollywood with parts in the Creed, Expendables, and Guardians of the Galaxy franchises. However, one of the actor's biggest roles in life is being a father to his five kids.
Sylvester's family is super supportive of his acting career. His wife, Jennifer Flavin, a successful model and entrepreneur, frequently attends Sylvester's movie premieres, and so do the couple's three daughters: Sophia Rose, Sistine Rose, and Scarlet Rose Stallone.

During an appearance at the Toronto International Film Festival for his documentary Sly, Sylvester Stallone looked back at his career that has now spanned half a century.
He appeared on the red carpet with his wife, Jennifer Flavin, who just a year ago filed for divorce. The couple reconciled a few months later.
The actor talked about his two most iconic characters: Rocky and Rambo.
“I can do Rocky until I’m 100 years old because there’s so many different stories. He doesn’t have to fight in the ring,” he told the Toronto Sun. “There are so many fights in life.”
His attitude towards Rambo, however, was the opposite. “Rambo, I could leave him. He’s done pretty much, even though they want to do another one, but what am I fighting? Arthritis? It’s the truth,” he cracked.

Sylvester Stallone walked the red carpet at TIFF 2023, on hand to promote “Sly”, a new documentary about his life and stunningly successful Hollywood career that’s closing out this year’s festival.
Et Canada’s Brittnee Blair caught up the the “Rocky”/”Rambo”/”Expendables” star at the “Sly” premiere, and asked him whether he thought his 10-year-old self could have ever imagined himself on a red carpet for a documentary made about him.
“I consider myself like the last of dinosaurs… and I’m very proud of that.”
“Oh, no, no, no, certainly, no, no,” Stallone insisted.
“I mean, that would be very immodest. It’s like, really, you can’t be prepared for this. Especially with the longevity of this career, [which] is mind-blowing. It’s just mind-blowing because I don’t know how much longer you can wait.. Society is changing, the commerciality in cinema.. it’s faster. So longevity would become a premium,...
